They never do that!

Let me ask you all an honest question......right or wrong...

I thought it was kinda lame of Ten Foot Midget for not coming to our table.....I've never met the guy before, and I sent out a tweet saying "Tell Ten Foot Midget I'm at table 39"....and then he responds with something like "I'm sorry, I'm with the talent #bigtime". Now of course, I know that's a joke, but the guy never came by to introduce himself, and I don't know what the hell he looks like.

I think for being such a sarcastic guy, he takes himself too seriously, which again shouldn't surprise me because a lot of radio (and wannabe radio) people do.

It just makes me think of how he used this board to gain a few votes for his blogger contest...during that time, he posted just about every day, and once he won the contest, he never posted again.....and I didn't care for that.....

So was I big timed by the blogger?

I agree with your sentiment regarding what I've underlined above.

No - he didn't big time you. He might have thought he did, but as far as a big-timing goes he's a glorified Steve from Elmhurst type call-in celebrity . . . . the sort that earns his "status" by dialing 7 digits.

It was pretty shitty of him not to come over and at least say hi.

And I agree with J.

You can't be 'big-timed' by an English teacher and a delivery boy.

Glad to hear that it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. I'm pretty sure there were a solid amount of tickets at the door, and the vague nature of the event + the price turned some people off. I highly considered going but yeah. Maybe next time.

No worries Kamps, he's a fucking no talent radio jock sniffer of the highest order. Even the board members whose names Ive texted you that I don't care for have more interesting content than what this sycophantic blowhole brings to the table. Let him keep tossing Lil Dannys salad every chance he gets, he's useless .

This is no different than all corporate functions in any industry. Everybody is trying to advance their position with the higher ups. That's what this was about for the lower ranking Score people. It's all politics. Even for a lowley Score blogger that won a contest. He's dreaming big. Nobody from the Score wants to talk to listeners when they're trying to better their status. B&B, Mitch and Zim is who the lower ranking Score people want to buddy up with at events like this. Why does this shock you?

Neither did Rosenbloom.

No Sweica, Ofman, Huebner, T-Dub, Hood, Buffone, OB, Memelo, Rogers, or Riles.

The fact that quite a few of the current guys didn't make it tells you something.

It was pretty much a glorified remote. The only person who was really "roasted" was Murph. I would have been pissed if I had spent $100 for tickets.

Yup. So now we know why the Scores commercials for this event didn't mention who was going to be there...because no one was. Weak effort by Mitch & the Score to get the old Score guys to attend, & an even weaker effort to not even be able to get all of the current Score guys to attend. Leadership is sorely lacking at the Score.

And you know, Monday we will get to hear about how GREAT of an event it was and how much fun everyone had. Which host goes the farthest overboard??

I will say Spiegel goes the most overboard if he showed up.

Mac said he wouldn't be there, because his son was playing in a band that night

If not a lot of Score radio people showed up, then it sounds like a flop.

I don't know what the motivation to attend would have been? Mac was not gonna be there....Jiggets and North were not attending.....most of the original cast was NOT going to be there. If you want to see current personalities of the station, you could just as easily go to a remote and save the hundo. I was at the 10 year reunion and it was a BLAST! But everyone was there-save for Danny Mac, who had just recently switched over to AM1000 at that time. So both reunions have 1 thing in common...no Danny Mac!
