Ok I've seen enough of De Aza in CF. That was the 3rd boneheaded play he's made in a little over a week. Time for plan B. He fuckin sucks.

Why is it every game that goes to extra innings turns into one giant fustercluck after another?

10-4 good buddy.

Chalk it up and move on.

Division title still runs through Armour Square.

Hawk needs to learn how to say "error." Or maybe B&B could spend an hour tomorrow getting angry about it.

I really would have liked to see Robin pinch hit for De Aza here. This guy needs to get his head out of his ass.

DeAza is just another Wise or Ozuna, a nice guy to have on your bench but not an everyday player. Guys don't go from bad to good very often. It seems like every other year or so Kenny tries one of these types of guys as a regular and it never works. DeAza is going to make people beg for Juan Pierre. Might as well throw Lillibridge in LF and play Rios in Center.

It's not early when you consider you should have known he was done last year when he couldn't hit shit.
Still owe this guy 44 million.

As soon as I saw Zach Stewart warming up in the pen, I knew the game was over unless the Sox hit a HR in the 9th. Just an awful loss.

It's fine.

The closer wet the bed after not getting a call.

Back to the closer by committee? I say it's time to try Addison Reed, Crain didn't exactly look great either in the 8th. Thornton can stay in the setup role.

I don't think you change anything based on one game.

True, but the leash should be a little shorter with Santiago. His first save was pretty flawless. After that, he has been in trouble every time out and given up a HR in 2 different appearances.

Imagine what it would be like if Kenny didn't have a short circuit between the ears and had Sale closing instead of learning to be a starter.

The Sox are doing the right thing putting Sale into the rotation. That was the plan with him all along.

All right cool. I don't know though man, feels kind of rushed into starting. We'll see. There's a shit ton riding on this rotation being stable and good. I don't think you can count on any kind of offense on any given night, unless AJ or Paulie are up with RISP. Only two guys getting it done right now.

The lineup is bad enough that when/if the pitching fails the White Sox will be racking up numbers in the L column are a good clip. It's an obvious point, but if Rios/Morel/Bacon/everyone else besides Paulie-A.J don't hit...they walk a very thin tight rope.

No he's not. He had a solo HR Friday and Sunday, but when he was up in the 3rd innings of Friday's game and as the tying run in the 9th on Sunday, he struck out.

If it looks like the same lineup tonight, that's because it is. It's a battle of lefties as John Danks faces Wei-Yan Chen in the second game of this series.
