That looks like the easiest schedule in the league.

So they get the AFC South and

Carolina
SF
Arizona
Dallas
Rams
Seahawks

Not a cakewalk, but its a good year to play the AFC south.

Scorehead, this was known at the end of the season....I'm sure it is on here somewhere....with the current cycle that the NFL has, teams know their opponents immediately after the season is over.

Yes, the opponents have been known for months, the only unknown is when.

Any more than 4 losses this season is not acceptable. Lot of bad teams in there to beat up on. BEARSSSSSSS!

That's a pretty damn weak schedule. If the Bears have a good draft, this team's winning 13 games and vying for the #1 seed. I just have the feeling they're ready to have one of those charmed seasons.

This is Lovie "Prove It" year I think so sure they'll be better. Lovie might take a non drowsey decongestant on the sidelines and the Bears will be fine.

6-2 Home. Lose to GB/Det or Hou.
5-3 Road. Lose to GB/Det/49ers.

11-5 Season...3 teams from NFC North in the Playoffs?

The Bears opponents -every team in the NFL for that matter - have their opponents set for every year except for 2 games that are based on record. You play your division games and you rotate through an entire NFC and AFC division every year. It's a set order so you can figure it out for every season.

The 2 games that are based on record are two teams, from your conference of the divisions that's not the one you're playing in the yearly rotation, you match up what place you finished. Bears finished 3rd in the central so they play the Cowboys and Panthers who also finished in 3rd in their divisions. Bears play the NFC west this year.

So all of the Bears opponents are known on the last day of the season. And we know of the 14 teams that the Bears will play for the next 100 seasons unless the NFL changes their system.

The NFL will announce dates and times tomorrow. So we'll know the Sunday, Thrusday and Monday nighters.

IDK about the Bears losing to Detroit at all. They have to show me they can be good for a 2nd yr. in a row.

I think the Bears will have their toughest games against the Packers, Niners, Panthers and Texans. They lucked out by getting the Seahawks at home as opposed to the Pacific NW. Arizona & Dallas could pose a mild challenge. The others should be "easy".

Will the Bears face the Lions in Detroit or Cowboys in Arlington, TX on Thanksgiving Day? Could they also be on NBC Thanksgiving Night? Those are a couple of the questions I'm very curious.

So if the Bears play during the day, they "also" have to play at night?

Gonna be a lot of sore Bears at Halas Hall on that Friday...

I highly doubt if the Bears play in Detroit or Dallas during the day on Thanksgiving, they will not also play Thanksgiving night.

We'll find out come 6p or so...

SHARK, reread your statement. They are not playing 2 games in the same day.

No, you said "could they also" to which I sarcastically responded that they would not be playing 2 games on the same day.

I absolutely hate Thursday Night Football. Makes the week 1 game vs. the Colts feel very trappish.

Going into the playoffs that doesn't seem awful. Jay will get to pad his stats in a controlled environment.
