Anyone know of a way to go frame-by-frame on a youtube video...I swore I saw a frame from that video where it shows the bat breaking perpendicular of the plate but I just spent 10 minutes with it and the best I can do is the frame JORR posted.

I paused it as close at they would allow you on youtube, and I thought he was at 180 degrees. But I don't know if I got the very end of the check when I paused it. Once again, from that camera distance, you really can't tell anyway. The umpire can't really tell in live action either. So he absolutely did the right thing by rining him up with a perfect game on the line. It was close enough to say either way would have been right. The youtube video did show me that he went further than I thought before I saw this youtube footage.

Bottom line --- Swing or not, no umpire is not going to make that call after Jim Joyce screwed Gallaraga on his perfect game. If it's close, its going in the pitcher's favor from now on.
