The big vajay is hitting a robuse .128 entering tonights game with the Cards in which he inexplicably has gotten another start.

He has already produced an out.

6-48 on the season.

Don't worry. I'm sure Theo has a future Hall of Fame catcher at Daytona or Peoria who will be ready for the World Series drive in '15.

Thats the one position he couldn't develop in Boston so they had to go trade for a few of them.....and its a pretty damn important position as far as calling games and defense in addition to being a competent hitter. Get a good game caller/contact hitter and they will be set. He may have to trade for the guy eventually.

Why in the hell would the rays be interested in him? Are they short a bullpen catcher?

Indeed they are. Chirinos went on the 6O day DL I believe.

A bag of balls will do, thank you very much. Let him ply his manscaping in South Beach.

Are you daft? They already have the catcher of the future on the roster. That's right I'm talking about the 2012 Inaugural Spring Training Bunt Competition Champion, the one, the only, Steve Clevenger.
