Since so many of you were upset at the Bears 1st round pick. Who would you like to see them get tonight with their 2 picks?

The other two starting LBs from Boise State.

To play cornerback and long-snapper on punts.

I predicted in the other thread that it will be the DT from Cincinnatti named Wolfe.

I love Cordy Glenn. I would like Alshon Jeffrey or Janoris Jenkins but I don't expect either to be there.

Round 2 I would like to see them get either Konz from Wisc or Allen from Illinois. In the 3rd I would like to see a CB or WR

I think the second round starts heavy with WR and doesn't stop until rd 4.

Both my combine guys are still there -

Zach Brown, LB - will probably go tonight but with the Bears 1st round pick, I don't see them going this way.

Tommy Streeter, WR - probably a guy for tomorrow

Does Konz have injury concerns?

What I don't want to see is them reaching for a gem from Midwestern State that nobody's ever seen play anybody.

Get a guy that's played big-time competition and held their own. Take those flyers in the 7th round. They need solid contributors with tonight's picks.

I have no hope that Lavonte David will be a Bear after yesterday. He's the same type as Brown.

Dr. Ken, FWIW, Bucky Brooks on NFL.com is predicting Konz goes 49 to S.D., Janoris Jenkins to the Bears at 50 and Streeter to the Texans at 58.

The NFL Draft is awesome. It's my favorite night of the baseball season.

Dallas is shopping Mike Jenkins for a 4th rounder.

Wrong thread.

58? I've been seeing 5th, maybe 4th for him all along.

I was really hoping the Bears would grab him tomorrow. But, even I can't justify a 2nd for him, maybe a 3rd.

Isn't defense more of a need than offense right now? I see most of you all want them to focus on offense but other than the offensive line (I believe it won't be an issue since there won't be 7 step drops) adding another WR early in the draft seems like you all just want a cherry.

Don't have the faith in the o-line that Lovie and Co. seem to have. Love to see them go in that direction.

They are far from being set in the WR department. I hope they don't think they've solved that just on the Marshall acquisition.

I think the wildcard will be Janoris Jenkins. Big time talent and big time trouble. Interesting to see where he goes.

WR isn't a need position. Having a true #1 instantly makes the guys around him better. Guys like Hester and Bennett will find themselves open more than normal and Forte and Bush will see bigger holes.

Offense please. Offensive line or WR would be good. QB + trade Cutler would be great.

I hope they target a WR in Round 2 and a DT in Round 3.

Then a CB, OLT and OLB in Rounds 4-6.

...and the obligatory choice of a safety in Round 7.

2nd - WR (Stephen Hill or Alshon Jeffrey)

3rd - OT

Not only that, but Johnny Knox will probably not be back until week 7, if at all...and will he even be the same?

They will need a burner to complement Marshall.

You do realize Urlacher's ancient, Briggs is pretty old and Tillman has a base salary of 7.95Million next year, with bonuses ramping it up towards $9M.

...and somebody has to replace all the snaps Adams and Okoye took last year.

Actually they signed two other WRs besides the Marshall trade. I agree though, they need another above average WR. Knox, Hester and Sanzenbobble don't cut it for me.

Grid,

It's just seems apparent that it's all about offense, and I want Jay Cutler maximized because I don't know the next time we will have a Pro Bowl caliber QB.

I'll be happy with any of the guys below for WR.

Benjamin, Travis Miami
Hill, Stephen Georgia Tech
Owusu, Chris Stanford
Wylie, Devon Fresno St.
Streeter, Tommy Miami

Trade Devin Hester for a pick.

What pick? Hester wouldn't net more than a 5th at best.
