I really hate to say this but............

For years, I was impartial, and followed the Hawks from afar, hoping they would win. Always looked forward to playoff hockey. But,,,,,,, Since Mac has come back to the Score, I have gotten so sick of
Blackhawk hockey being forced fed to me with endless ramblings and guests noone cares about that
I AM HAPPY AS HELL THE HAWKS GOT THEIR BRAINS BEATEN IN, just so we can hear SOME balanced
sports talk in the 9-1 slot.
After football season is over thru April, the show is just NOT a good listen. That is when Mac actually shows up for work!

If everyone took a month off work when they had person problems the world would stop. Mac should take every Winter off ( He generally misses about 1/3 of it anyway )

Mac doesn't overestimate the demand for Blackhawks talk any more than Bernstein does Bulls talk.

That is simply not true. Although Burnside can be overbearing, and is most days, at least he can roll his ass out of bed and go to work every day.

ass openly admits he doesn't even watch Bulls games, how is he supposed to talk about them?

The only thing worse than his hockey talk this winter was his 15 minute "feel sorry for me" speech when he returned from his self imposed exile. Who gives a rats ass about his depression, and addiction problems????? Act like a professional, show up for work every day, and do your damn job.

The Reality is, the Hawks are by a wide margin the 5th team in town. The other shows in town, on both stations do a nice job of covering the Hawks, as they should.
The do so without shoving them up our ass over 95% of their shows.
Then spending the other 5% blabbering about his personal life, that noone gives a rats ass about.

B & B basically split sports talk and personal life talk right down the middle most of the time, so do you hate that too?

The hawks are the 5th team, but they're a relevant 5th, and I think it's nice of Mac to at least have SOME semblance of acknowledging the hawks exist, since for the most part every other show will maybe barely chime in on it, or in B/B's case, straight up hate the entire sport.

The Blackhawks are better then Bears, Bulls and Baseball teams combined. Kane, Toews, Sharp, Hossa, Keith, Seabrook...not to mention the plethora of Top Offensive prospects they have coming up soon...The Hawks are going to be talked about for a long long time and have the potential to win 1 or 2 more cups, so get used to it crybaby. No one wants to hear football talk in god damn April or all summer. Football is the lazy mans sport anyways.

On the contrary, people do want to talk about football all year long. They shouldn't, because oh for the love of God I can't stand when an entire hour is devoted to some bullshit OTA in the middle of June or whatever, but they do.
