It's sad seeing this kid break down at 23. Most thought it would happen around 30, but it has started sooner. Can only hope something happens to Lebron or the Celtics continue to ball.

They had a 20 point lead, but Philly was on like an 8-0 at the time the injury happened. You don't pull your guys when a lead is potentially evaporating. You don't want to let your opponent have any confidence into Game 2.

Goff is telling people "It's sports people. Don't get emotional."

Awww. Thanks for being the voice of reason, Jason. We didn't know it was sports and that there were more important things to get worked up about. Now get back to calling people racist for likeing hockey, you dumb ass hypocrite. That's the important stuff to get worked up about. Bulls insider gig is over until next season.

I'm gonna be emotional.

Everybody get a drink and sing along with me.

You like Thibs are an asswipe...VDN would have had him on the bench! But Paxson choked VDN for playing Noah???? So he should fucking shoot Thibs

Bulls had a 20 point lead with 6 minutes left. He shouldn't have been in the game at that point. You put him in if it got below 10. But the game was never in doubt even with their little run. Bulls had it in cruise control. Anybody who says it's not Thibs fault is just saying it to go against common sense for the sake of going against common sense.

Who had the tougher night... Rose or Goff? Yikes.

Rose is officially injury prone. Going to have a short career. Too bad.

Imagine if the Bulls still had Howard, there would still be a fighting chance.

Wonder how worried the Bulls (and Adidas) are about signing Rose to such a huge long-term deal. The guy missed over 40% of the regular season with five separate injuries and now he's blown out his knee. It will also be interesting to see whether they sign Thibodeau to a long-term deal.

Somebody needs to get the word to Chris that Dwight Howard is out for the season with a back injury.

Its not Thibs fault. There was no contact. It could have happened anytime. That could have happened in practice. I'd like to at least play the Heat. I think they can still beat anyone other than Miami and OKC. If Lebron slips on his drool and breaks something we got a chance.

Bulls are screwed but Adidas probably has something in the contract to protect them.

Wouldn't have happened if he was on the bench...would it????

He should never play at all. Then he'd never get hurt.

Rose should have never played in the NBA. Just think of all the injuries he could have avoided. Thibs probably had something to do with that, too.

So you get back surgery when you're not happy? Come on Chris! Just let go of the Howard stuff. The Bulls actually have a better chance of winning because of the players they didn't have to trade for Howard.

Yea, as messed up as it is, I think it's possible. Meaning, I think he could have played through it and waited on the surgery.... not that he made up the injury.

He's unhappy again. Really pissed they didn't stand up for him with the Van Gundy stuff, and then didn't deny that he called the Owner during the game to have him fired. He's childish.

No Rose and an injured Howard would put the Bulls in a worse position IMO because they wouldn't have the players they have now. Deng and company can help the Bulls advance to the ECF.

Blaming Thibs is a bad sports thought.

You're going to bench your best player with a minute and a half to play and a 4 possession game?

I'd like to see how many 12 point leads Jordan was sitting on in the playoffs.

Well, nothing matters if they don't win the championship this season. If they do, I was wrong. If they don't win, then I'd rather have Howard and Rose for the following seasons, instead of winning meaningless series.

Uhh...yes.

I'm not saying stars aren't on the court in these situations. They are. But this star is coming off 5 injuries. So take his ass out. The game was in hand vs. this team. It's also on Rose for doing a hard jump into the lane for no reason what so ever. I'm not absolving him. At this point in the game, just swing it around and jack up a 3 as the 24 clock expires. You don't need to be driving.

and how many herniated discs have you had in your lifetime?

Guy's got a herniated disc that requires surgery and you think he could've played through it and held off surgery? That might be the most ignorant post I've ever read here.

Yeah Dwight, just rub some dirt on it you big pussy!

Reports suggest his injury is worse than normal tear. "May seriously alter his career".
