Diet Coke was never intended to taste like regular Coke; it was actually predicated on the Coke II recipe.

The best overall is Diet Dr. Pepper .... haven't tried the '10' version, but I would assume it's even better.

I don't know if the low calorie beverages are actually any better than the zero calorie ones. Dr. Pepper 10 is not significantly better than Diet Dr. Pepper in my mind.

As for this Pepsi Next thing, not as good as regular Pepsi. But just about anything is better than Diet Pepsi.

Funny thing is that my uncle did research on sacharin years ago and was part of the team who determined it caused cancer, would always tell us how bad it was as my stepfather kept cases of Tab and Diet Rite cola in the house.

All of the diet stuff is OK in moderation and when I say moderation, 1 diet cook a week, as the free radicals will be eliminated by your body.

For the longest time, Diet Coke was my fave. Coke Zero is rapidly becoming my go to drink of choice now. Both have zero calories and taste real good.
