Said it before, say it again. These two aren't at their best when working together. Both are much more engaging and sharper when working with a "fill-in".

I like Meat and Goff a whole hell of a lot. I enjoy listening to their siren song whenever they are on.

Just seems like the whole show could use a break being together.

Had a little radio fight yesterday, because of Twitter. I think it was Finfer who tweeted something like, if you want to hear sports better tune in now, could change to something else soon and Shepkowski got involved too. I don't think Ben and Nick cared about an interview that Mac and Spiegel were looking forward too.

It was about them interviewing Greg Couch for the Chicago Concert Summer Series.

I also heard where Spiegs told Dan not too put words in my mouth, not sure what started it.

I believe you are referring to Greg Kot. Greg Couch was a sports goob who used to be at the Sun Times.

It's been a contentious few weeks for the Danny Mac show. Little barbs here and there, outright smack talking, under-currents of displeasure....

Two good reasons... one, hardly anyone is listening and two, people do. I recall a big backlash when Mac was buying some big boy toys and saying it was for the kid.
Talking about one's children isn't strange or condemnable, but the constant reminders of just how genus Bern Stine's kids are is nausiating... "He reads the sports section cover to cover every day and knows all the stats" Not unique. That's me and most of my friends at that age too. Once he discovers pussy that's gonna change.
