Side story related to White Castle:

My grandpa goes into surgery for some sort of cist/contusion near his heart, pretty serious shit. Spends a week in the hospital medicated and miserable as hell before he gets the all clear to come home. I'm up there in Oak Lawn with my grandma throughout all this, and we go to the hospital and pick him up. My grandma asks what he'd like to have for his first dinner back at home, and he says, "a giant goddamn crate of White Castle."

We're literally 4 minutes down the road from where less than a day ago this guy had major fucking heart surgery, and he wants to gorge himself on liquid meat, onion rings, and corndogs.

Sure enough, he feasted on that shit, as did we all.
