Melo dominating the 1st quarter. Wish the Bulls had the stones to that trade last year.

I'm glad they had the stones to not consider it. Even without their superstar they have the 2nd best team in the conference.

2nd best isn't good enough. especially 2 years in a row.

But 7th best is? Because you basically are saying you wanna trade place with the Knicks.

A'mare Stoudemire is likely out for the rest of the Knicks/Heat series, thanks to his hand injury, according to FOXSports.com.

The Celtics overcame the loss of both Ray Allen (ankle) & Rajon Rondo (suspended) with Paul Pierce scoring 36 as the C's beat the Hawks in Atlanta 87-80 to tie that series at 1 apiece. The Hawks' Josh Smith didn't finish this game with a sprained knee and could be sidelined for Game 3 Friday night in Boston.

Also, the Lakers' Kobe Bryant got 38 and Andrew Bynum had 27 in the Lakers' Game 2 104-100 win over the Nuggets 2-0. L.A. leads that series 2-0 with Game 3 in Denver Friday night.

There are three games tonight. TNT has Game 2 of Jazz/Spurs in San Antonio at 6p, followed by Clippers/Grizzlies in Memphis. The Spurs & Clippers lead their series 1-0, while NBA TV, DIRECTV 216, has the Pacers/Magic Game 3 in Orlando at 6:30p. That series is tied at 1.

Spurs need to get off on the right foot this morning. Utah and their frontline certainly won't be a pushover though.

I guess that only applied to the first half of Game 1.

Bosh may be out for Game 3. He went home because his wife is in labor. They don't even need him against the Knicks, so it probably doesn't matter.

Why not?

I'll tell you why not, guys. A Spurs' appearance in the NBA Finals is bad news for ABC. In 2007, not even constant shots of Eva Longoria from "Desperate Housewives" at courtside were enough to keep the casual fan interested in San Antonio's four game sweep of Cleveland that year. Look it up. It was the lowest rated NBA Finals ever.

For the record, Eva was married at the time to Spurs' guard Tony Parker. They have since divorced.

I'm going to wait until they face a real team in this playoffs to cast any judgement on them. I am very intrigued by the possible Grizzlies/Spurs matchup next round.

On the other hand, 312player has declared the Grizzlies dead, so that probably means they beat the Clippers in 5, and then sweep the Spurs.

Right now, the Jazz are no match for the Spurs, and I wouldn't be shocked if San Antonio sweeps them out in 4. If Utah doesn't win late Saturday night in Game 3, they're done.

Well if the Knicks have any heart at all, now would be a good time to show it.

No, they'll win the series and give the Spurs a tough run.

I love how Reggie Miller kept emphasizing how surprising it was that Fields and Bibby scored.

These promos that the TNT guys keep reading for Men At Work are awful, and they get real creepy if Marv Albert is the one reading them.

The Knicks are breaking my heart. Very disappointing. They're about to go down 0-3.

Miami is doing that "fuck it...it's time to win now" thing that they did against the Bulls last year.

Amazing how they can just turn it on whenever they want. MSG is dead-silent, and they're probably gonna start booing in a second. Fuck this shit.

Miami has a free ride to the Finals. Hopefully OKC or San Antonio stops em.

I'm about to watch Bulls vs. Cavs from the '94 playoffs on YouTube to make myself feel better.

These playoffs are really making my nuts ache so far. Every team I like seems to suck.
