A severe thunderstorm WATCH has been issued for our area until 7:00 pm tonight. The primary threat being hail to 2” in diameter, strong winds to 70mph and lightning. Nothing has popped up yet but the NWS says a storm could develop very quickly so keep your eyes open.

REMEMBER...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE
FAVORABLE FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH
AREA. PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR

Had marble-sized hail and flooded streets in Evanston last night. It was scary (not as scary as spiders though).

had an awesome view last evening between 6:30 and 8ish. everything had an "orange" haze about it. crazy lighting to the south east. it didn't rain until after midnight.
