it's sad i can't even really feel good about this series as a sixers fan. rose proves more and more why he's an mvp.

sixers are just fodder for their next opponent...sigh.

Won't the Sixers play the winner of the Celtics/Hawks?

Shitty reffing in the last minute.

Huge understatement. That took the decision of the game out of the players hands. The no-call on Boozer when two guys clearly hacked him was inexcusable, and we were down 2 at that point. Then they come down and I think it was Jrue who faded away from a stand still defender who didn't move and didn't touch him, and he goes to the line. That's complete bullshit. There were other terrible calls but those two calls pretty much decided an otherwise even game.

I never thought I would say this in a playoff series, but has this become fun-bad for the Bulls? I never thought the playoffs could ever be fun bad, but this is about as close as it gets.

It can never be fun bad. This team was supposed to win. :(

I'm not overly down on him because of the wrist but your boy is coming up pretty small.

Hindsight is 20/20 but he would've been better off just having the wrist surgery back in January. He would be at 100% or close to it by now.

Yep.

And now he is even going to hold off until after the olympics. That shit really really pisses me off. He's sacrificing part of next season just so his country will get bounced early in the preliminary rounds.

Not like nobody knew this would happen going in, but this has turned into the perfect storm for a lot of NBA teams this season.

Strike-shortened season coupled with a jam-packed schedule follow by the Olympics. What a clusterfuck.

I guarentee that in five years when we look back at the labor dispute we will see how all of this negatively-affected the NBA for at least two or three seasons.

Now that the Bulls got their first playoff win without Rose, they will come back and win this series in 7 and move into the 2nd round.

I've heard talk that there could be a possible suspension for Taj Gibson for game 6 because of the "elbow" he gave Brand when they were on the floor battling for a loose ball. This team is getting very close to having Scalabrine start.

The Bulls need to make sure there is no huge free throw disparity. You can't be giving the other team an extra 20 pts at the free throw line.

I think the total points disparity is more important but I agree with you.

Rumors that Thibs is considering going with a BIG lineup at some point tonight with Deng/Taj/Boozer/Scalabrine/Asik

He plays the role of LeBron when Wade's not in the game. The other guys fall in line. They should do this.

I get ticked when I watch the game and Spencer Hawes is putting up 20 points.

Could have had him instead of Noah.

The center position is becoming deprecated.
