How about the new Taco bell Dorito shell ad where some douche and his friends drive over 900 miles to get them?

What is with this new White Sox game + Champagne Lodge commercial? Are they trying to tell me that I should offer to my wife a night at US Cellular Field and then a night in a hotel designed to allow people to cheat on their significant others in a classy way? I'm pretty sure the combination of White Sox baseball and sex hotel is a poor choice.

I'd would like to nominate every McDonald's ad on the radio. The kind of humor one would tell at the old folks home -- guaranteed to offend nobody and mildly amuse the elderly and mentally underdeveloped. Let me write one for you right now...

(this should be read with a two times too large smile from a woman voiceover)
"I love the color green! The look of a well manicured golf course, uh, seeing a green light at a busy traffic stop -- and McDonald's must like green too because each of their delicious artisan salads are made with at least five types of greens. From the hearty Romaine to the delicate watercress, each green brings their own spin on -- well -- greenness! (stifled chuckle) And with McDonald's every day low prices, I'll be even happier -- I can save some of my green for other great things like, (this should be delivered in a stammering way as if the person is just spontaneously coming up with these green things) a, a pet turtle or -- a jade necklace or -- a trip to Ireland or a.... (cue badabadada music.)"

Please cut it out with the "witty" humor, McDonald's. If you are going to try to be funny, go for it like the old BK commercials. If you aren't, then play some stupid wholesome aw shucks we're great thing, but this mild form of haha humor is awful.

The Champagne Lodge? That's what I see former "LOOP Rock Girl" April Rose hawking in TV commercials that I see from time to time on Comcast SportsNet and nowhere else. Are you sure you're not confusing that with the Fairmont Chicago Hotel ads that are on The SCORE/White Sox Radio Network?

She was on the score webstream talking about how the lodge was only 25 minutes from the park. She didn't mention the White Sox specifically like most commercials have to avoid unless they pay.

I think I scooped you SHARK. She's now doing radio commercials on the Score webstream.

The worst one by far is the one with the sassy black mother calling her son and praising him for his wisdom in buying a McDonald's breakfast. The mom character is so over the top. And "I knew I raised you right" for buying a McDonald's breakfast. Come the fuck on. Who you crappin.

Yes, Matt!

I hate that commercial. Actually I hate all McDonald's commercials (TV and radio), as they have the most blatantly racist and stereotypical ads of any corporation.

The worst part is that they congratulate themselves for contracting minority-owned ad agencies. Okay, but that still yields a Mammy stereotype indicating the consumption of McDonald's breakfast as proof of good parenting. Whatever.

There's a TV commercial for Residence Inn wherein a woman is doing yoga (lots of the yoga in commercials these days) with a bowl of cereal in one hand, doing the Dance pose while watching a yoga video on which the instructor is clearly doing the Downward Facing Dog pose. Is she, like, a wacky free spirit or something? Or an slow adult? If so, why is she on an extended business trip? Or maybe she's part of a clandestine government experiment on time traveling imbeciles. Maybe put down the goddamn cereal for five freaking seconds and hit pause or something.

But you can't get out of the line of fire. Fuck, how I hate bullshit new-age shit. It's stretching. Fucking stretching! Shut the fuck up about it, assholes. Take your bullshit poses, your bullshit metaphysics, and your bullshit Hindi and shove them right up your ass, and suffer a fatal bowel obstruction.

If there is an opposite of this thread anywhere, that "naughty librarian" eyeglasses TV commercial should definitely be in it.

He is annoying as fuck. The worst/weirdest part is when he drops in the "harm a kid get the blowtorch treatment" shit. WTF does that have to do mortgage rates??

He says that he "wishes he had said this more" which seems to indicate that he thinks his commercials could have stopped what happened at Penn State.

It does seem weird to hint that you were against harming children in one of your commercials. Like, I just kind of assume that the company selling things is against harming children unless it's Nike or NFL Play 60.

This reminds me of the Chapelle show parody. Old woman dies from high cholesterol, women make fun of him, neighborhood guys rob him, and his girl cheats on him. I miss that show.

True Story.

I have only heard this commercial on WSCR. I just assumed he is parroting Bernstein looking for "like minds" for business.

The Geico commercial airing during Hattfields & McCoys.

Well really any Geico commercial.

But this one makes me want to post generalizations and opinions about television executives as fact.
