Not shocked at all that Liverpool worked Chelsea over today...Chelsea has a habit of pissing down thrir pantleg when they play n important match...I felt bad for Ross Turnbull but I don't think Cech would have saved any of those goals...Chelsea's two center backs (Terry and Ivsnovic) were awful....Essien can be put in that catagory...he still isn't back from his knee injuries...I can't imagine many regulars will see a lot of time against Blackburn Sunday...I would almost be half-tempted to hold out the players that are suspended for the Champions League Final...Interesting choices for RDM if Cahill and Luiz aren't fit to play in Munich.

I've been a fan of Man City since i started following soccer around 2004 so suck it! Became a fan because they had american Claudio Reyna who was pretty much their best player and I really liked Shawn Wright Phillips. Plus I liked the idea of cheering for the underdog in the shadow of the New York Yankees of soccer (United).

Also became a fan of Arsenal that year because they were the funnest team to watch play and Henry was one of my favorite players. My fandom for Arsenal has tapered off, especially since a friend of mine is a big gunners fan and he is constantly talking crap about City.

So basically, you can suck it.

GO CITEH!!!!

Us Citeh fans have been waiting since way back in 2004 (the year soccer was invented in my eyes) for this title!!!

uh huh. have you had 9 brain surgeries too?

How's that any different from what I just said? Been a Citeh fan since I started watching soccer in 2004, was also an Arsenal fan. Stopped liking Arsenal this year, switched all my devotion exclusively to Citeh.

besides the fact that you said you started watching soccer in 2005, and that you claimed arsenal was your favorite team...jumped off arsenal's bandwagon because city was doing better...?

i mean, you did this with the blackhawks too. so yeah...you're a front runner. just accept it mate.

Do you not know how to read? I clearly said I had two favorite teams when I started watching soccer, Arsenal and Man City. Arsenal was #1 and City was #2. When I came back to soccer in 2011 after it went HD I switched my #2 and my #1. How is that front running? Man City was mid table at best when I became a fan.

And who cares if its 2004 or 2005? Not sure which year exactly, but it was the one when Arsenal was awesome and won the league, which ever year that was. I think it was 2004.

And boycotting the Blackhawks because of Bill Wirtz and then instantly becoming a fan again the day he died is not being a front runner, its being a good fan.

So in other words........

SUCK IT

hahaha, mid-table? it was august when you posted your bandwagon jumping (2 matches into the season), and they finished 3rd the year before that, after spending a ton of money the past few years for big names.

front. runner. especially when you factor in arsenal back then (2004-2005).

you really aren't too bright are you? Mid table in 2004 when I started liking them. Capiche? Or do I need to write slower?

Stopped watching soccer in 2008 and didn't start up again till April/May of 2010 when season was pretty much ending. Aguero chose City over that summer so moved city past arsenal at the start of the 2011-12 season.

Not really understanding why this is so hard for you to understand? I always thought you were only half a retard, not full on tard. Guess I was wrong.

btw, how'd your Flyers do tonight?    out of

right. but back then, arsenal was your #1 team. arsenal was 2nd in the league. you made city your #1 team this year, where they are 1st. you even pretty much called yourself a front runner by saying you were "switching bandwagons". i would think everyone understands that bandwagon = front running. if you were such a fan of city all along, why weren't they always your #1 team? because. you. are. a. front. run. er.

btw how are *your* blackhawks doing? only a matter of time i guess till you jump ship on them again.

I've heard that Alessandro Nesta is leaving Milan and is pondering a move to the MLS. He's old but is one of the best ever centrebacks. I'm sure it's a NY or LA move.

SURVIVAL SUNDAY IS ONLY 3 DAYS AWAY!!! JOIN ROB STONE, WARREN "THE TOKEN LIMEY" BARTON, ERIC "JOHN HARKES FUCKED MY WIFE" WYNALDA AND BRIAN MCBRIDE FOR IN DEPTH ANALYSIS AS WE COVER ALL THE BATTLES IN THE EPL HERE ON FOX!!!

I really hope the Mayans were right about 12-21-12, but that it only applies to Wynalda.

None of his teammates could stand him and ESPN could not get rid of him quick enough.

And, BTW, I am going to wait and let Zach start the npower Championship thread in August.

I find it interesting that ESPN got the first choice of the 10 games. I do not mind as I have grown to like the Ian Darke-Macca combo. Macca is great, especially if the game is really good or really bad.

Ah, the end of another great (?) EPL season. It will be better next year when the Reds will have a new player wearing number 23.

You enjoy Mcmanaman? I didn't like Darke at the WC in 2010 because he kept trying to make everything an analogy to American sports but he is good on the PL games. It seems to me Macca is often sleeping during the telecast and Darke has to prod him for analysis. You know who is actually good as a commentator is Gary Neville. I've heard on him on the Sky Sports feed when I watch matches online. He's raw, since it's his first season, but he isn't half the twat I expected him to be.

I said Macca is good only when the games are really good or really bad, otherwise I agree that he is either out getiing a pint or nodding off and Darke has to use the cattle prod to wake him up.

Neville is OK, he will get better. His orgasmic call of the Chelsea goal is a highlight of the year.

Sorry Zach, it should have been beneath me to go for the low hanging fruit. I will root for Rovers to come right back up like Blackpool might on May 19th.

If Wheaton Rovers can hold on to Yakubu they might bounce back up. But the Yak had a helluva season and another PL team might come calling.

That was AMAZING!

As a neutral, I was pulling for City, it looked like a Cub like choke job....wonder if QPR just lost a little of concentration on the third goal after they found out they had survived relegation.

Mancini made all the right moves the last few weeks.

I though Balotelli was a beast when he came in, creating scoring opportunities, setting up the third goal and Dzeko off the bench to score the second goal.

Hopefully the Champions League game is as thrilling as today turned out to be.

Motherfuck that was some exciting stuff at City. I think when QPR found out they'd be staying up they probably lost their heads. This occurred right about the point stoppage time began according to what I have been reading. What's with these Man United fans thinking City are some shit plastic club because of all the money they spent on these players? Do they not remember the exorbitant fees paid for people like Ferdinand, Keane, Veron or Rooney?

P.S. Fucking Liverpool.

united fans need to stfu. it's pretty evident that you have to buy championships nowadays anyway. homegrown teams are a thing of the past for the most part.

Nice work by Arsenal and Arsene too, I think finishing 3rd with the lineup they had was more impressive than City winning it. 15 years of CL football in a row is solid.

CITEH!!!!

That was unfuckingbelievable.

In 20 years Disney (or the english equivalent) will make a movie about this team and this game.

I was so happy to see my favorite player score the Cup winner! Way to go Sergio!!!! He now accomplished something even his father in law can't claim on his resume!

I'm not a fan of Wenger but I'll give them credit. They did it without Fabregas, Nasri, or Jack Wilshere.
