I'd much prefer boxing but there is literally no reason to care about boxing currently. Any compelling fight won't ever happen because the combatants are fine just beating up on losers and getting big paydays instead of a bigger payday against an opponent that can beat them. The other fight is between brothers, and even though I would watch, I don't know how enjoyable watching two brothers slowly kill each other would be.

I'm really a great miss for boxing because I get bored in the UFC when they get on the ground and hump for 2 minutes. I know, there is strategy in the humping but it's boring to me. I want to see two guys punch each other.

I got into the "Ultimate Fighter" but I've started to lose a little interest. I think the days of following a sport where you have to pay $50 a month for a ppv are over for me. I'll still watch the stuff on Fox, and FX, and if it's really compelling watch the fight on youtube the next day.

What would be interesting would be if UFC started a boxing spin-off where they could abuse the fighters and use them like raw materials like they do with UFC fighters. I doubt they'd risk helping boxing even though boxing is dead.

I've watched more MMA than Boxing in the last 5 or so years. Still, there is nothing like a big time boxing match...

I watch more UFC for sure, but KI is right the feel of a big prizefight can't be topped. Boxing just needs someone to unify all of the different organizations and make it easier for the casual fan to follow. 1 Heavyweight Champ, 1 middleweight, etc.
