The Lakers choked big time. I was pissed I stayed up and watched that game.

 I can probably count on both hands the number of times I've slept longer than 6 hours in the past year. Something tells me that can't be good.

He's made a lot of big shots that have brought his team back. I still would rather him take the shot than a wide open Blake. He choked though. 3 bad plays in a row.

Not really knowing much about Blake's mental makeup, I'd go with him. He's one of the top 3 point shooters in the league and wide open. If you don't trust him to shoot that then release him because he is on the team for the sole reason of hitting open 3's.

Ron Artest shouldn't be allowed to take the ball out again either. Kobe should have made a move before 6 seconds just in case he missed too.

In general I agree, but he did nothing wrong. He doesn't have the passing ability to weave it to Kobe in that situation and Blake is the best 3 point shooter on the team and was wide open. The untold angle of the play is Kobe deserving blame for putting Ron in that spot. He waited too long to move, and didn't adjust when Artest's man shaded over(which Kobe had to 100% know was coming).

I'm a couple days late but if the great Bill Walton was an announcer he would have said Wade should be arrested for the play he made. How long is Wade allowed to play football on the basketball court whenever he gets mad?

Another great question is how long does the equity from 2006 last when it comes to reputations? If you only look at their body of work this year and last it's hard to argue Wade is a better closer than LeBron.

Disagree. Wade has closed out games for the Heat this year. LeBron even defers to him now because of it. I fear Wade with the ball in his hands more than LeBron because I know LeBron is liking going to pass it.

He might pass it. Chances are he will make the "smart basketball play" though. Wade will just shoot a terrible fadeaway or clumsily barrel towards the rim while demanding a foul call. I actually think LeBron taught him the latter move.

The Pacers HAVE TO trade Granger this summer, especially with Paul George. I'm not sure who hasn't seen what they needed to by now to make a judgement on Granger. He's a role player. He's non-verbally telling us that about as demonstrably as he can this series.

Damn, I'm sure LeBron would appreciate a little help. This is getting almost historically bad for Wade.

But LeBron hasn't been guarding him most of the series, a washed up Battier has been. And it's not that his production is off. It's that he's playing timid and scared. Paul George has struggled at times too in this series but he's played aggressively and clearly wants to be in Lebron and Wade's company. Whether he will or not is an entirely different topic, but he has the talent and it looks like he has the drive. Granger is sitting on the 3 line all day missing open shots and when he occasionally takes it to the rim good things happen, it's just not happening nearly enough.

i think indiana pulls this off and wins the series...a loss here will send miami in a tailspin...finger pointing and second guessing the coach is soon to follow.

Can't wait for the undercard to finish. As Bernstein would say, hope you all are ready for some BIG. BOY. BASKETBALL.

Damn. Pacers came to play. Lebron seems like he's sulking. He's doing that Cleveland shit right now.

Uh oh. Tirico is editorializing about how it's great to see Indianapolis supporting its team again, and they were justified in staying away from a bad team with "a bunch of knuckleheads" who demeaned their fair city. We shan't hear the last of this.

Quote:
I'm so glad the NBA is safe for WHITE PEOPLE now. That's just saying "we won't go if you don't have white people." That makes me sick. Stephen Jackson's a real damn NBA player.

I think he eventually threw in the towel but I won't criticize him for this game. He played his ass off and would be fully justified in punching Wade in the face after the game. At least for this one night Lebron was not the mentally weak one of the duo. Wade played like a rookie production-wise and intangibly.
