I thought it had a few "moments," but overall, it was just kind of blah.

The soundtrack was better than the movie.
The movie was average.

I remember liking it when I saw it, but now I can't remember a single moment that stands out that says "this is a great movie".

I have an extra special level of hatred for this movie because I've been told I look like Zach Braff.

i did really like the soundtrack a lot. at the time i saw it, just about every song played in the movie was a favorite of mine. couldn't believe they put in "only living boy in new york"--never thought I'd hear that in a modern movie. great choice.

See. We debated this in my "who's the hotter star wars chick".

But this is a movie that Natalie Portman did not look so good. Her character was such that she needed to look simple and she did. When she is without make up it draws attention to the fact that she has small breasts.

You'd have to ask Ugie or Doug to back you up on that, Rob. I will in no way, shape, or form ever admit to resembling Gaze McEmo.

When I first saw this movie, I liked it. But then people started telling me it changed their life and whole perspective on things. That bothered me. I can still enjoy watching it, however. Peter Sarsgaard steals the movie.

kind of reminds me of some people i know that hated "the big chill" for the same reasons. one of them parodied the movie in a movie that he made himself.

I have seen neither movie and have not desire to. My life will have to go down its current path.
