The group of protestors actually infringed upon the rights of other groups way, way more than the police/city did. They are blcking streets illegally, attempting to interrupt the legal assembly of the NATO leaders. You do see that, right? No group has the right to infringe upon the rights of others, which is exactly what these protestors are doing.

I'm not being obtuse. The protestors that were removed from that intersection today is specifically what the discussion was/is.

They were illegally there, shouting obscenities, threatening people, and throwing bottles, buckets, metal gates, etc. Those people were not deprived of a single Constitutional right. They were, in fact, violating the rights of many others. Sorry that doesn't fit what you originally are upset about. They weren't denied a right. If you are arguing the "freedom to assemble" angle, you'd be wrong, as proven many times in court.

I could sit, alone and quiet, in the street in front of my house. That would be against the law. If a cop comes along and spends several hours asking me to move and I don't, I'm gonna be arrested. I'm guessing I wouldn't get the benefit of several hours being wasted on asking me like these people did.

If these people are being denied a Constitutional right, I'm sure that some of the pseudo-lawyers that run around with them will take up their cause in court. And I'd wish them tons of luck if they choose to do that. But I'm guessing we won't hear about someone taking that case.
