Was watching 30 clubs in 30 days and here is the lineup they project for the Cubs:

DeJesus RF
Stewart 3B
Castro SS
LaHair 1B
Soriano LF
Soto C
Byrd CF
Barney 2B
Pitcher

Nothing like having a #2 .145 hitter.

I would think Barney and Stewart might switch.

or use Stewart to break up Soto and Byrd.

Very balanced lineup.

I'd definitely flip Barney and Stewart in that lineup to start the season

Yeah I think I would rather have Barney in the 2 hole and move Stewart down

That looks like a division winner to this guy.

The Cubs have some interesting bench players in camp. It be nice to see a few roster changes.
I love the grindy Tony Camps but that Mather guy might be a more "traditional" bench player.
Also some good looking U-INF guys, too.

I think Stewart will bounce back this year. I don't mind seeing him at #2. This team isn't projected to win shit, so put him in the best position to succeed - by hitting him in front of Castro.

Boy they better hope Rizzo and Jackson come up sooner rather than later because I don't see that lineup hitting many more than 100 home runs. Yuck.

Why?

Worst part is that they have nothing else behind him

The lineup is better yet worse tonight.

Lalli is catching which is awesome....Mather at 3rd....Reed Mantle in CF.......however......Baker is at first and LaHair is not playing. Did he get hurt last night as I saw Lalli was put in at 1st or is Swaimer just pulling a Quade and playing the bad utility guy.

LaHair being given a "mental day" off per Svuem.

If the Cubs don't take a lead within the first 4 innings tonight, it will be a week since they had a lead at any point during a game.

Here is a stat that is more disturbing, I heard it on CJH yesterday.

Since the Ricketts family took over, the Cubs have been at or over .500 for just 4 days (not counting being 0-0)

That's not very disturbing at all. They took over a team with a bunch of bloated bad contracts.

Since Mike Tice has taken over the OC duties for the Bears, they haven't scored a single touchdown.

The Bears are also scoreless since Marshall was acquired.

Haven't won a game since Phil Emery took over as GM.
