Was able to get Marco Andretti and Dario Franchitti at 10/1 and 8/1 respectively.
They have since dropped to 11/4 and 5/2...

Who do you like? Do you even care? Are you gay?

Briscoe.
Yes.
Absolutely.

I'll be watching some/all of all 3 races that day. I'm cool like that. Plus it beats sitting outside in 95 degree weather. Fun starts bright and early at 6 AM!

I'll be tuned in, at least for the start of the race on ABC Sunday morning. It seems hard to believe, IRL's signature race of their season lacks sizzle and a certain woman is now trying to make the transition from those little IndyCars to those biggies in NASCAR. You may have heard of her...Danica Patrick.

The only other storyline I could think of has to do with former Indy 500 champion Dan Wheldon, who was killed on track I believe out in Las Vegas, near the end of the IRL season a year ago. I've got to think Indianapolis Motor Speedway officials will have a moment of silence and a look back at Wheldon's career during prerace ceremonies Sunday morning.

The only difference between this and NASCAR is instead of rednecks turning left, it's Euro trash turning left in go carts.

Keep it.

Good numbers on those drivers. I see Dario finishing ahead Marco. I like the podium to look this way, Will Power, beating, James Hinchcliffe and Rubens Barichello in a fuel mileage race.
The monopoly of Honda engines in finally over with Chevy and Lotus(LOL) being in the series once again. For the record I do care, as the Indy 500 will be the second leg of the all day ustream racecast. Grand Prix of Monaco at 6am, Indy 500 at 11am, Coca Cola 600 at 5pm. It will be a thing. Last year was so much fun with the Formula 1 cars having a confusing, if not nearly exciting finish. Indy 500 having the leader crash off of turn 4 on the final lap, and Dale Jr running out of gas on the backstretch of the final lap in the Coca Cola 600. Good times

EDIT: and I'm very gay

CART used to be the shit. I remember the Penski team of Emerson Fittipaldi, Al Unser Jr., and Paul Tracy dominating.

They're calling it "Carb Day" at the Brickyard. I have no idea what that means...

Even though Sunday's race airs on ABC starting at 10a, NBC Sports Network has this "Carb Day" on now as I type this...

That's the same as "Happy Hour" in Nascar, basically. It's the final practice before the race.

What is Carburation Day?

It is the last day that the race cars are on the track before race day - so it is their last chance to practice (or wreck) before the race!

Instead of having a whole day to practice, they only have a few hours, generally around 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. After that, there is the traditional Pit Stop competition where the race teams compete to see who can get their cars out of the pits the fastest.

Carburation Day is a popular and busy day at the speedway. There are many large parties going on in tents as well as in the crowds in the infield and in the stands. Since 2001, IMS hosts an outdoor rock concert after the Pit Stop competition.
