Bulls win by 10.

Gordon has another mysterious game of 25 points with no assists or rebounds. Tyrus gets under somebody's skin (either Rip or Rasheed), technicals start flying mid 3rd quarter.

I've noticed he has that effect.

Since Dr. Kenneth Jonahwater didn't start this thread, the Bull should be fine.

Bull by 8.

This is the first time in a while that they're slight favorites. Over the top Bulls hype is back.

4 in a roll and history are round the corner. Hope Flip stays confused and the Bulls keep rollin. Bulls by 10.

Look at PJ Brown bringing the hustle. He's having a great first half.

He looks great, and he's keeping us in it.
Hinrich and Gordon need to step it up.

Heinrich's gotten some good looks but can't find his shot. If he'd made most of his open jumpers we'd be up by double digits.

Hinrich can't hit the ground with his hat. He's had good looks but can't hit 'em.
I hope he has more success at the other basket.

I'm cautiously optimistic heading into the half. We have a 5 point lead mainly because of PJ Brown's effort, but we will need Kirk Hinrich and Ben Gordon to hit from the outside in the 2nd half.

This won't get mentioned, but if we are going to depend on Brown for more 2nd half scoring, we'll also need Tyrus Thomas to play some minutes off the bench to keep Brown fresh for the 4th.

I don't think we're blowing this team out, and I'm optimistic, but a long way to go.

From Detroit's side, I realize he is probably looking to get his teammates involved, but, so far, Chauncey Billups looking very tentative when looking for his shot. I expect him to be more aggressive in the 2nd half.

PJ Brown is a 115 years old, will he have any left for the second half?

Probably not 20 more points, that's why Hinrich and Gordon need to step it up offensively.

Defense and rebounding will tell the story of the 2nd half. Whoever plays better on that side of the ball will win this game.

Precisely. You perfectly echo my sentiments.

Bulls have come out looking a little flat in the 2nd half....R.Wallace hits a 3, and Billups hits first shot of the half.

I'm now officially concerned.

Some woman with courtside seats just got kicked in the face. I'm sure DP will be all over that tomorrow.

At $6 a pop for a 10oz beer I'd try to save it too.

If I'm Detroit, I'm feeling very good about the position they are in.

Kirk Hinrich has totally lost his confidence out there. He's not looking, at all, for his shot.

Bulls are missing too many FT's here in the 2nd half.

Teams that can't hit open shots don't win in the playoffs. Detroit is giving the Bulls every opportunity to stay in this game and we can't even knock down open 12-15 footers.

I'm pinning that loss on Wallace. Sure the backcourt shot poorly, but you got Wallace to push you over the top, and you're giving up boatloads of offensive rebounds in critical situations. Wallace didn't do squat. Even if Gordon and Hinrich shoot poorly, if Wallace controls the boards and has even somewhat of a defensive presence, I think they still win that game.

Agreed that Wallace didn't do squat. He didn't even look like he was jumping for a lot of rebounds. I wouldn't be surprised to see him behind the bench in Detroit for the Pistons' next series.

Nas, time to add "in 2008" to you signature line.

Question is, if they had Chandler instead of Wallace, would they have won that game
