Spot on. I can picture him in a pickup game being that guy that gets mad at or yells at his other teammates for not knowing the 4 Out or dribble drive motion offense. He's playing with idiots! while he flawlessly executes. Carries the team on his shoulders! Goes home and tells his wife there was one maybe 2 guys better but they were ya know taller and just more talented but he was the best all around player. I could also see Dan being one of the guys you make fun of in the tball thread too.

It was obvious the moment he turned around and didn't watch the strike.

I bet BernStine could bowl a strike if giving unlimited chances.

He is probably an awesome bowler. Even better than Steve in Elmhurst.

I think he just doesn't realize how ridiculous this shit is. He made it a tennis ball so it would seem more plausible, but it's still absurd.

I know we have some serious distance runners on the board. I've probably averaged 25 miles a week since I was 19 years old. If it's really warm out and I take three Advil about an hour beforehand and I try to get my best mile, I can probably go 6:30 and I'll be grabbing my fucking socks. Now, if I were lying about it- which I'm not- guys like Zach and benni and badrogue and Telegram Sam and reg wouldn't necessarily think that was bullshit. It's reasonable enough. What bernstein is doing would be like me saying I could run a mile in 4:30. Before I hurt my knee, of course.

I could only run a 5:15 mile in highschool. The top guy in the state could run in the 4:10s. Guy was 6ft 2 and weighed like 150lbs.

I know, bro. It really blows my mind.

All white athletes are crackers and bad athletes....except for one Danny BernSTINE. The Pacers should have called up 2 Cold BernStine to play in Tyler Hansburough's place for the Pacers-Heat series. Pacers sweep if he suits up. Dunkin' on LeBron and shit.

Why do they get away with what would be considered racist thoughts if it were about any group but whites? I dont know

Why do we enjoy giving them shit for what they say?

Because they pick on the weak. They're the equivalent of nerds who make fun of bigger nerds. Every now and then its nice to point out their hypocrisy.

I dont know how or why that would bother you

I really am torn on this subject. In high school I knew guys that could dunk a tennis ball and were like 5'7" or 5'8". They were quite athletic and they definitely could do it. NOTE: they were able to do it in the gym with wooden floors. You could get a little more lift in the gym. They had much better hops than I ever did. One was just a guy, never played for a "team". But these were rare guys. I do find it a leap  that Bernstein could do it, but I didn't know the guy then. It's possible. The baseball thing is different. Just can't see it.

JORR if you are still running 25/wk...salut.

I'm sure you have at least a passing knowledge of the history of this country. You don't understand why the double standard exists?

I dont believe in "Eye for an Eye" especially when youre trying to eradicate something (HATE)

"We got too much hate in this country, throw some more hate on top it"

Im glad you admit the double standard that exists on B and B though. Many here wont even do that.

Anyway, just remember, A listener is a listener is a listener regardless or their mood, reaction, or reason for tuning in. Were all helping the show.

Laugh if you want to. Just don't be surprised when he crosses you over THEN elevates, putting his sack on your chin

If his little ass had the heart to try and make contact with a 95mph batting cage fastball, AND his pipe stemmed arms got the bat around in time, AND he actually made contact, the bat would fly farther than the ball would. But his eyes would (like a scared little leaguer) stay closed the whole time.

Until just after the bat bounced off the fencing and hit him.

And I'm sorry if that little 5'5" guy could dunk a tennis ball, it'd have to be on a 9' rim.

I know, but he called B&B once, and was introduced as Steve in Elmhurst. The Fraud tried to correct Bernsie, but he was having none of it. Since then, he hasn't called B&B, because he feels his brand was disrespected.

Thanks, beni. I still get five miles most days, but sometimes my knees force me to take a little break. I run outside all year long too. I don't care how hot or cold it is. You couldn't really tell it by looking at me though. I'm not put together like a typical distance runner. I'm more like Emmit Smith. Or maybe Juan Uribe.

But you can't really judge a book by its cover. One time a skinny guy followed my pace for about two miles along the Evanston lakefront and out onto the landfill. We must have covered it in about fifteen minutes. When we reached the north end of the campus where the observatory used to be and where the "House that Kelly Amonte-Hiller Built" is now, I turned around and this guy said to me, "You carry your weight well". Asshole.

Another run I'll never forget was on a really hot summer day. I was kind of lethargic for the first half of the six-miler I was doing so I looked for a target to motivate me during the back half. Sometimes I like to stalk another guy's pace to keep me interested, but I try not to be obnoxious. I'll usually lay back a bit instead of running right on top of him. So on this particular day I saw what looked like an old guy about a quarter-mile in front of me. I figured I could make that up in the space of three miles and catch him. It turned out he was going a little more than I thought, but I picked up my pace and kept cutting into the gap. I was within about fifty yards and I could see he was probably about 65 or 70 years old. I had about a mile left to go so I relaxed a little. When I got in my last half-mile I cranked it up to pass him. He started shoulder checking. He knew I was back there and I guess he could feel I was shooting for him. He picked it up a little, but I was going really good. Finally, with about a quarter mile left I pulled alongside him. He looked over- this motherfucker wasn't even breathing hard- and he said, "Hey kid, catch this!" and took off on a dead sprint. I took about three quick steps before giving up. He was gone like that.

The moral of the story is, maybe bernstein can leap tall buildings in a single bound.

I had to look that up, Spaulding.

I think I have a pretty good memory, but I'm sure I get stuff wrong on occasion. The recent popularity of memoirs has raised questions about memory and truth vs. "truthiness" vs. out and out lies. I've never told an out and out lie in this forum. But I'm sure I might misremember a detail here or there. I'm not making shit up for effect or combining characters the way David Sedaris does.
