Why does everyone think North has more money than Mac?

North probably lost a fortune in Webio, Dont Fade Me, monsters in the morning, diapers, baby formula, and let's not forget about all of the terrible real estate investments he made that have completely plummeted. The guy has definitely made more money than Mac through his career, but I'm willing to bet he has pissed most of it away. He wouldn't be taking these shit gigs if he was sitting on a pile of cash.

North takes shit jobs because he is a hustler. Doesn't know the meaning of the word lazy. The guy was in business for himself and knows how to work. Bet he didnt put much into webio but his "name".

Mac wouldn't get out of bed if he had a choice. He certainly wouldn't be working midday crap for recession contracts.

i do';t even think it is close mac has deep pockets..north lost a substantial amount of loot of the last 5 years while bringing in chump change..mac continues to keep grinding away and earn...mac also lives in indiana..cheap property taxes ..he vacations in canada fishing and plays golf..not real expensive hobbies..i think north would take a job at the score tomorrow for 75k in an instant.

The reason is that we were using "household income" as the measuring stick. Nort's wife 'represents' a guy that has no income right now. Depending on what percentage of his deals she gets, I think that put's her cut at right around nothing (give or take).

Mac's wife does pretty well for herself and it isn't based on anything he does or does not do. And he's still working, Nort is not (essentially). Village of Rosemont).

Maybe this is just irrational thinking but I really do believe people support Mac more than they would B&B thus more advertising dollars for Mac and Speegs=more money for them in the long run. I really think that if you put Mac and Spiegs in any other spot on either station they would crush the competition including Boers and Bernstein. Silvy is very good at his job and Waddle is a former Chicago Bear so people are going to be drawn to them no matter what.

You left out a lot of costs associated with each hobby. No doubt that these hobbies are not a financial strain on Mac, especially with free rounds, but to say they are inexpensive hobbies is incorrect.

I would guess that Mac has a deal like Dahl used to have where the station paid Dahl's "company" and Dahl paid everyone else. So they pay Mac $150 k, Mac pays fat pants 50k.

What they make is based on what they sell commercials for. You can buy midday commercials cheaper than morning or afternoon drive.
