I don't think the board needs him. His sports opinions are terrible and he expresses them in a distinctly Bernstein-esque way. It's annoying. Aside from a few interesting political links I don't think he's really contributed much to the board. I don't really like tomatoes though.

1. Instead of giving his own sports opinions, he would critique others' thoughts and shoot holes in their theories. If you don't give an opinion, it can never be wrong, right?

2. Criticize others for not being funny, while simultaneously displaying a complete and total humor impairment.

3. Call out some people for socializing with board members, while exempting others (Hmmmm...Doug has never had a run-in with Midget and he's the most social guy here).

4. If all else fails, go to your #1 fallback: question others' sexuality.

i think in the case of bagels v. TM, bagels came out way ahead...and it was one of those times that TM was kinda exposed for jumping in too deep...ah, not checking himself before he wrecks himself so to speak.

i think where TM thrives is actually in the politics department because he's very well read and knowledgeable. is he a snob about it? well sure. but...i can't really call out a snob now can i... 8)
