fully realizing there is a cubs equivalent to this guy...probably...many many more cubs equivalents to this guy.

but i'd like to just point out this kind of specific asswipe that infiltrates bars. he was a walking stereotype. so i'm in my local bar and this older guy (gotta be late 50's but with perfect touch of grey hair), with his collared sox shirt, comes in...with sunglasses on. orders his beer, and taps the bar incessantly while drooling all over the (admittedly) hot bartender. i mean, very vocal about how devastating she is and how much money she'll make tonight. then he starts bragging about his son out of the blue...and claps to no one when the sox were doing well, or even when it was on commercial break.

this isn't really about sox fans...this is just about assholes like this guy. but he is a sox fan, so yeah...fuck him. okay? i hope sox fans would say the same thing about this guy.

There is not a damned thing wrong with people who are bull shitters.

Can we please stop with constant back and forth? It gets so tiresome. The occasional sideswipe or joke was OK but now it infects every single baseball related thread on the board.

These teams are in different leagues. One team's success/failure has nothing to do with the other. Not every Sox fan is a white trash ump beater and not every Cub fan is a drunk frat boy that doesnt even know the players.
