Been jackrolling women and old men out here in the western burbs and finally have put together enough cash for a new iPad . Was wondering if any of you guys could recommend a decent sim game, ala civilization to play. I see quite a few dudes on the train playing something that looks similar to civilization but I'm pretty sure thats not what it is. Any suggestions?

It's not exactly what you are looking for but my most played iPad game(free) is TowerMadness HD.

I'm not a big war sim guy for IPad...I am thinking about getting Football (Soccer) Manager Handheld. I have seen a game called Modern War advertised. Ha mighty be a possibility.

They do have a civilization game for ipad, but I've never played it...

Game-wise, you're better off playing stupid games like Brick. All the 'Hardcore' games blow, the controls are weird and awkward, and you instantly regret purchasing them... Tiger Woods golf is surprisingly good as is Fifa 12, minecraft seemed cool, but I didn't know what I had to do so I stopped playing. Racing games are hit or miss, I usually stay away from gameloft but Asphault 6 was an enjoyable time-killer... And that's about it.

I played Road to Rome... you gotta build roads and buildings in a specific time period. You need to manage resources and stuff like that. It's not like Civilization because you never fight anyone. Good time waster.
