Great book, highly recommended. You can read it in 3-4 hours (maybe less).

Born and partially raised in Waukegan, IL. I doubt he bragged much about it though.

one of our great writers. loved that he never called his stuff "science fiction", except for 451.

naw my celly was a ~60% likely homo/bi named james who like, you know, had my back if you catch my drift.

i also congregated with turkish pimps in jail. met a guy named john st clair who says he had visions of the conversations we were having in dreams a year b4 we met, and yeah. then there was cochese who got a little goofy when we started doing heroin together, but pimphand pete was my favorite. he gave me pimp wisdom and taught me how to be a lean mean spades bookmaking machine. and he nearly teabagged me when he dunked on me in rec. at the age of 52 no less.

jail can be fun if you're fun, you know?

Didn't read a ton of his work, but Fahrenheit 451 is one of the few books I read by choice in high school. Very good and thought provoking.

RIP
