so back in my halcyon days of legend and lore on the angels (i played for the angels, the giants, and the expos. but briefly. see sometimes you gotta leave the expos when they disrespect you like YOU CANT PLAY 1B and i'm like dude i'm the best 1B on the team, but NOOOO coach's kids and their friends get first licks of the tootsie roll pop of life) there was one time where some shithead hit a ball over my head and made me run for it. he went for the home run.

i see him rounding second as i'm getting to the ball and go "oh fuck this" the cutoff man is doing jumping jacks like give me the ball, but there's only one chance to get this motherfucker and it's me going str8up vlad guerrero / larry walker / andre dawson / insert-badass-expo-legend-here on the deal, so i take a double clutch hop and just unleash everything i have right at home plate.

one bounce, catcher nabs it and tags him out. everyone is OMFG i get back to the dugout and the coach says "schaefer, in my 13 years of coaching little league that's the most badass thing i've ever seen.... do it again and you're benched"

You are probably wasting time with this thread, unless you are talking about a fall league. Every league that I know begins play in May and you need to be registered for the league (assuming they don't have so many returning teams that there is no room for a new team) in March. You might try challenging the Score team to a game that they could just use as a practice game though.

Ok, well Im thinking 5 is average and I think Im a little above average. I could take it down to a 6, but thats as low as I can go

I have zero power, but you need singles in 16" and that is what I can do. I don't have much speed, but I know how to run the bases, and am not afraid of sliding into a base like a lot of 16" guys are (or won't because they have shorts on). Fielding is my strength.

I'd be in on this for the pure entertainment value and the possibility of mid-week binge drinking. In 12" I would pitch or play left. Hitting and running won't be an issue.....it's tough for me to rate myself since everything is relative, but I am fast and can hold my own at the plate. If it goes 16", you can keep it. I like my knuckles the way they are....

I can pitch as well, if you have not pitched 16". you are not going to try now....and I might only be able to Pitch if the shoulder does not heal. Can't make the throw without a shoulder.

All I know it lotsa smack talking around here about ability in the athlete dept, without backing it up.
