I'd say we need 20 people as no more than 10 will show up for any one game. I have no idea where I score anymore with abilities.

If I could make it, I'd be at SS or 3B, probably anywhere in the outfield, but I can certainly play whatever. Except 1B. That sucks in 16"...I like my fingers intact.

Hitting low number is due to the fact that I'd have to adjust back to slo-pitch. But once I'd adjusted, I'd be good for a single or double every time up. 16" plays way differently than 12" slo-pitch. Bear that in mind, Babe Ruths.

I'd be a fill-in due to schedule. But I guarantee you'd know when I was coming or not, I'd let the manager know in advance so you could plan accordingly.

We should just form our own Board Podcast. Then we could claim we're a radio station.

I despise 16 inch softball so cannot play with it, cannot win with it, cannot coach with it, can't do it.

For 12 inch, I'm a 3B/1B.

Fielding: 8
Running: 4 (the old grey mare, she ain't what she used to be)

I can't commit to this - even though I'd love to.

But, in a pinch, if you need the greatest defensive 1B of all time, I can pick it like a 3-year old all up in his nose.

Me too; no way I can commit to being in the city on a weeknight but if I could I would love to try out for 1B vs the Dr. I have been looking for the last 29 years for a chance to reprise my role as 1B on the 1983 Champaign IL Park District 12" softball Championship team . If I recall correctly I even corralled a foul pop up for the last out in the final game.

While I may have lost a step or two and a little in bat speed over the years a crafty veteran such as I who knows how to win can offer many intangibles.
