Startin' his own threads. Givin' everybody shit. That's why I came to the board in the first place. Good stuff.

Thank God for somebody that's got a sense of humor about themselves. Kudos to Goff on that, too.

Sorry fellas.

Mac started off talking about a criticism Berns said about Mac's show on Friday. It had to do with Mac talking about Fathers Day and feelings. Mac said Berns called them "The feelings show" and he wanted to hear Terry talk about Fathers Day but Berns led him away.

Then Bernstein attempted to downplay the criticism and hemmed and hawed. Mac said he doesn't need help programming his show, especially since it has been succesful.

Dan and Terry were quiet for a bit, then Mac went in on Berns for being dismissive of them when they aren't on site.

There was more. Listen to it.

Nope was serious, saw in some other thread TP said check the B+B thread for details but it wasn't very specific. Thanks for clearing it up TP.

It was a good "dressing down" by Mac. BernSTINE just didn't have anything in response. And Mac batted away the slap&tickle, the meek retorts and kept on the pressure. A really wonderful segment.

I'm torn with my take on the discussion between Mac and Berns.
Was Mac expressing that his "feelings were hurt" or was he more upset that digs were taken behind his back?
Was Bernsie actually surprised to hear Mac's take from Friday's show, or was he subtley trying to say "get over it"?
P.S. Bernsie's "defense?" was that he was trying to say that the viewers wouldn't want to hear about his thoughts about fatherhood -- not just anyone in general. I know a few threads have been started on this site about Berns needing to zip it about his kids, so maybe there was some merit to his "excuse?".

The school yard bully (Bernsie in this case) usually backs down when confronted with a real challenge. Sure he can beat up on helpless callers, but not Barney Rubble.

Mac was caught red-handed showing feelings,
feelings of an almost human nature

it filled Bernstein with the urge to defecate
