That's Scott Lucas of Local H, you're probably familiar with him.

Did not know that. Now that you said it his voice sounds all sorts of familiar.

I think I've listened to The 15th about 10 times in a row, alternating between the original Wire version and the Angry Angles cover. Screw that Fischerspooner version.

That's a real good EP. Definitely a throwback to their early stuff. Barely Legal is another of their's that is absolutely perfect. 30 minutes of some of the fastest shit you can ever listen too.

I just picked this up at Reckless during lunch. It's their first release ever, which I've never been able to find before. And it's not very good. I think most of the guys in the band must have 14-16 years old when this was recorded. Not even close to the awesome which was Barely Legal.

I'll see you guys in a few months... 8)

It's the best album since your favorite 13 songs from MCIS.

You know why the Smashing Pumpkins suck?

Because their second incarnation Zwan was better?

Because the best part of the band, Jimmy Chamberlain, is not even there?\

Well, no. At least not your first statement. 90's Smashing Pumpkins is better than Zwan...and I haven't heard any recent stuff.

Ive heard more than one (two) big Pumpkins fan say they liked Zwan better

Although, I guess they could be more accurately described as Zwan fans

I liked Zwan anyway.

I liked Smashing Pumpkins.
I liked Zwan
I'm not a big fan of Billy The Kid and his band of hired guns.

D'Arcy's...er, Billy's bass lines are not better than Nicole's.
Mike Byrne is very nearly approaching the skill level of Jimmy Chamberlin. Jeff Schroeder is a WAY better guitar player than Iha ever was. Believe it or not these players have been with the band for 3-4 years.

The Zwan album is extremely catchy. Every song is a sing-along.

Oceania could easily be called "Mary Star of the Teargarden Embrace."

just download it from kick ass torrents.

I also like Zwan better (at the time) than the Pumpkins....because at that time, the Pumpkins didn't exist.
