Stay tuned... the announcement is slated for today, unless Lovie Smith calls the boys and pre-empts things by cussing at them.

I just want to know if Brian Bauer from the Chicago Storm will be there? Only then will I consider it an "event".

This is both a tease AND a carrot.

Hmm... I wonder who's grubby fingerprints are all over it.

You mean like the build up before the "Salisbury joins ESPN 1000" announcement?

I wish it was when they'd be doing Platteville 'events', but unfortunately the Bears moved to Bourbonnais.

Perhaps a couple of College Football "EVENTS" for some Big 10 or SEC games? I think that would be awesome, as long as it's some of the elite football programs (aka NOT Illinois).

Is it about a chance to win a trip? That was really exciting last year. I always like the contests that exclude women too. That way I don't feel bad about losing.

You kids are making me feel worse than I already do. Let the record show this doesnn't have my fingerprints on it anywhere. And we're gonna do something for the women listeners at some point, Spaulding. Maybe we throw you a belated baby shower after your child arrives! Sponsored by Miller, of course.

Are they announcing they are broadcasting Notre Dame football games again? At least those that aren't pre-empted by something else?

Screw Notre Dame. I hope it's Michigan / Ohio State.

I don't feel properly teased unless Mike Greenberg is doing it.

I think we have our winner!

....or it's some "Spend a Sunday with Mike and Mike as they prepare for a Chicago Rush game."

Brian Swaw will replace Harry Teinowitz as the Chief Snake Oil Salesman on Fantasy Football Island which will now run from 8 to 10AM on Sundays, starting on August 5th.

First, I gave Mac the breaking story that Albert Belle was coming to the White Sox and then I gave him the Hawks were signing Bob Probert and then I gave you guys this giant story .

I was really only kidding and low and behold I was right . Actually Joe Crede gave me this news.

Congrats to Brian . A guy who has more sports memorabilia than anyone I know .

That would be the best thing for the Fantasy show to have Brian Swaw on their each and every week. He knows his stuff and would bring consistency to show each and every Sunday. If it is true what Slap Shot ED is saying then congrats to little Swaw he deserves it.

I would pay my $15 to listen to what he has to say rather than look at the PROF Clayton for 5 mins

Let me add
What would be great on Friday of Convention have Little Swaw and J. Clay the Prof battle it out in Grudge match and Chet could do the ring announcer. the Little one VS. the All Knowing Geek......Like Mac said today he craps bigger than Swaw
