Lots of hope:

3) They have many players having above average years

downside, there is lots of dead weight in the starting rotation and bottom of batting order.

I'd say Detroit makes a strong run and wins the division. But if I was a Sox fan, I would watch a lot of this team.

You weren't there Friday and Sunday, were you?

Good thing that Friday and Sundays games aren't the only games the White Sox will be playing this year.

Phew!

White Sox TV analyst Steve Stone, also The SCORE's Chicago Baseball Insider, tells you point blank that the White Sox BETTER get it together at U.S. Cellular Field. A 4-5 homestand won't get it done...

For all you youngsters out there, winning home games is important.

Thanks, Steve Stone!

Anyways, while I was in Sin City I made sure to put some dough (for myself and Doug in EP) on the White Sox winning the World Series.

If they win, Doug and I will rich, rich I say!

Telander going balls to the wall now that RPB outed him. Nice work.

Since the first 2 weeks of the season, Detroit is 10 games under .500. I see the Tigers being like the Sox last year. Having a ton of talent on paper and hanging around in the division race, but never going on a run to really compete.

Not saying the Sox are gonna cakewalk to a division title, but I think the Sox biggest competition is the Indians and themselves.

bump. . .

What does that even mean?

No one is denying your claim that you've said all year you arent worried about the Tigers.

Quite the opposite.

You are worried. If not worried, then concerned (which is essentially a synonym for worried)

I mean, Im fine with the argument, but bumping old posts showing that you said these things about the Tigers all year doesnt make much sense. Unless Im missing something here.
