Florida punched their ticket to Omaha with an extra ining win against North Carolina St.

Arkansas tied up Baylor in the bottom of the 9th and still have the bases loaded with 1 out trying to keep their hopes alive. This is great stuff.

Baylor brought in a new pitcher and he plunked the first batter for the game winning HBP. Hawger's Hogs live to fight another day.

Unfortunately I have not been able to watch any of it, Hawger Jr. has been in a baseball tournament all weekend and after 4 games, I am finally home. Glad to hear they won today as I was pretty disappointed with yesterday, Keyser I agree the Baxendale start is very questionable. You can bet I will be in front of a tv tomrorrow.

Almost had some fireworks in the FSU Stanford game when a linebacker from Stanford awkwardly tripped himself and ran into the FSU 1Bman.

I feel like when I was watching the draft board someone was taken from this team every round and yet I had never heard of the school.

UCLA bombed Stoney Brook 9-1 behind the pitching of sophomore Adam Plutko.

Arizona beat Florida St 4-3 in 12 innings.

Arkansas is playing Kent St today at 4:00pm and is starting DJ Baxendale.

Florida vs South Carolina (8:00pm) will be a fantastic game with Brian Johnson going up against Michael Roth.

Now that I think about it starting Baxendale against Kent St is a good call. They're playing either Florida or South Carolina in game 2 so they should probably have their best pitcher ready for that game (Stanek).

This is going to be a very good afternoon/evening of sports watching.

That's a big win, Hawger. Baxendale looked great and the offense really showed up.

This Florida vs South Carolina game is going to be awesome.

HUGE game tonight for the Hogs with Stanek on the hill. Just hope some how, some way the offense will give him a few runs. Baxendale was tremendous on Saturday.

Kent State summonsed the Cubs bullpen to finish this game. Good christ. Throw a fucking strike already.

I can not believe the 3rd base ump rung him up on the check swing that would have tied the game with the walk. They never showed a replay of it, just of the Kent State coach appealing.

HUGE win Hawger. Your boys are in the drivers seat. Stanek looked awesome and the offense is putting up some runs. They're putting it all together at the right time.

I still can't believe Florida got bounced. Moment of silence........

The look on the Florida players was one of I can't believe this actually happened. Arkansas' pitching may pull them thru, in 8 games in the tourney they have a team ERA of 1.75

Yeah Keyser it was, 1st time I have a chance to comment as my son was playing 4 games over the weekend. I was definitely disappointed, but also really pleased with them. Their pitching will be really good next year, and hopefully we add some young hitters. Great season, and really enjoyed watching them play a lot this year. Thanks for all of your updates Keyser and as of right now, Arizona is kicking the shit out of South Carolina.
