I agree, I've just never heard of anybody being mentazlly fragile defensively and that's the most dumbfounding part to me. I get being scared to miss a big shot or go take clutch free throws when you're mediocre at FT shooting, but when he plays soft on defense, doesn't crash boards, doesn't run on the break on defensive rebounds like he does the first three quarters he makes it look like he's just tired.

Maybe he just freezes up and is afraid to do anything

If it WERE fatigue, Id say he and Coach Erik (What kind of name is that for a head coach? Erik?) share the blame.

He needs to learn to pace himself. Going balls to the wall for 3 quarters and dragging ass in the most important and final quarter, does not help his team.

Wade should still take far and away the most blame if they lose and he keeps playing this way.

well, he's playing hurt...according to wally....

never seen a star fall off quite so bad in such a short period of time. with the exception of a few games he's had a terrible postseason
and while i do want James to fail, i agree that it's going to be funny to see the majority of the blame heaped on him when the fail when Wade has completely disappeared. and bosh wants to be ray allen

Yeah what the hell is this? You are a PF, get inside. He has hit some 3's since he has been back, but he is hurting his team by hanging out on the perimeter

I'll disagree. The Thunder took a hard shot from Miami in Game 1, got it together and one the game and it wasn't close. That is an omen for the rest of the series.

And D-Wade isn't getting any healthier.

OKC will defend their home court and go to Miami to win two out of the 3 games and the championship on Miami's floor.

I hope you guys are right, but I think it'll be one of those #HeatOfficiating games.

Agreed.

Also, Thunder are 9-0 at home in the playoffs

If Wade shows up this would be an even series. I don't think that'll happen. I dont know what's up with him. Did Norris Cole and Joel Anthony run the train on his mom or something?

Yeah, very suspicious. Those guys can't see the court anymore. Anthony's size may have helped them in the second half of Game 1 with all that slashing Westbrook was doing.

It's time to suit up Eddy Curry. Tie a doughnut to him so it dangles just out of his reach, and set him loose on OKC.

It may not be a question of Wade "showing up", he might not be capable of it at the moment. Age, injuries and wear n' tear. He might just be on empty.

Wade's best days might be in the scrapbook already.

Miller is a guy who is definitely done. I don't understand how that guy gets on the floor instead of James Jones.

Game 5 and 6 against Indiana were just a couple weeks ago.

Yep. That what then(a few weeks ago) and this is now(June 14th).

A hard fought, high minute series against Boston and now into the 2nd game of the Finals.

He looks finished. And he might be.

I don't think he is. It just looks like he's not trying, especially defensively.

Defense was a real problem on the whole for the Heat down the stretch in Game 1.

Well, that's even worse, a whole lot worse. It's the fucking NBA Finals and he isn't trying?

What a fuck.

Durant warmed up 2 hrs before tipoff, then went into the stands + signed autographs for 20 mins. Can't say I've seen that at Finals before.

The NBA would never let that happen.
