Does Brooks stubbornly(stupidly) go with his BIG lineup again? Was two games enough to realize Ibaka probably shouldn't be forced to cover Battier?

they do have to get a hand up, yes
that said, don't think battier can keep up his sizzling shooting pace

No man, I'm not joking. Got 4 more months of school and I'm working all day so... yeah. Long rough summer.

I think he can if the Thunder keep trying to have guys like Ibaka and Collison running back and forth from the corner baseline to the paint trying to cover him while playing help D.

They really need to play the Westrook/Harden/Thabo/Durant/Ibaka lineup early and often against Miami's small ball lineup to avoid going down double digits again in the first half, IMO.

i tend to agree with you in the sense that miami doesn't have any significant inside threats, so you can get away with playing smaller
but i like having perkins/ibaka inside to protect inside after a james/wade drive ...

Hang in there Darko. Just look at it like the Cub situation, it'll be a shitty summer but sounds worth the investment in the future.

But when they play that lineup vs the Heat's small lineup? I feel like it neutralizes that defensive advantage. Perkins is playing Bosh at the elbow, I guess they think Ibaka can't stick LeBron, or at least not as well as Thabo, so from what I can tell they move him to Battier far too often, which means one of the best help paint defenders in the league is stuck sitting on the 3 point line half the game, and when he tries to help, boom - Battier three.

How does Brooks not see this? There's no way Battier's start to the series is a coincidence.

My quick takes from Game 2

OKC should start playing hard in the 1st quarter

LeBron was good, but he STILL could have been better. (This is a much larger issue but Im not sure he'll ever take full advantage of his skills)

Credit where its due though, the Big 3 were awesome and LeBron was clutch

I dont think you call a foul on LeBron on that last play. Let them play.

But yeah, OKC has owned quarters 2,3,4. Just gotta slow down those quick starts and for Rakim's Sake close out on Fucking Battier

We gotta series

no i do agree
heat have no inside presence at all, especially seeing as bosh doesn't play inside at all anymore. they're all drivers/slashers and bosh is essentially battier
still have to defend that though

i agree , i want to see the game decided by the players
but there were a lot of shady calls in that game and that one was pretty obvious
he was clearly fouled
just saying if you're gonna call all those other ones , call that one. if not, swallow your whistles
but joey crawford is there tonight, so i'm guaranteeing it'll go down to the wire...

Just please play Harden more and bench that scrub derek Fisher..he sucks, has sucked for a few years..he has no business on an nba tea let alone this team in this big of a game.

I was killing Fisher in the regular season on here but he's been valuable in the postseason. I don't like when Brooks plays him 25+ minutes but he's useful for, and should be playing, 15 or so minutes. 6 of them in the 4th.

I'm like 10 minutes behind on the DVR, to explain the belated comment, but it's a terrible omen for Westbrook that JVG was comparing him to Franchise and trying to mean it as a compliment.

What the fuck was the foul called there on Wade's layup?
That was insane... there was NO contact at all...
