If it ended today I believe that there was a "Cease Fire" order from Mitch. I don't believe it's over. Each show will still deliever bombs from their day spots towords the other show. After this goes on for a few weeks we will have another confrontation at transition. This time I think we might have casualties.

No it isn't. Terry does "DaMaNaaaaaaaa" *way* more than anyone, and he and Mac are great friends.

Beardown,
I enjoy these "Soap Opera" threads. Keep up the good work.

Hell,Mac just stated on here himself how Mully doesn't talk to him. So who is starting THAT Soap Opera,OKC?

OK. Terry is just playing around. He invented Da Ma Na. Goff does it to mock and insult. It's easy to detect the difference. Like I said, Goff will drop the "Da Ma Na" when B&B are discussing cracker behavior.

All I know is that Da Ma Na got revenge ticket!!!!! The Danny Mac we all know always gets even.

Goff:

Bernstein:

Mac: Don't laugh, Bernstein. Got something for you too.

Bernstein:

Mac: Hit it, Finfer

Finfer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDa1W9CE7L8

(Mac strikes a match on drinky, lights his cigarette and slowly walks away from a petrified "Team Bernstein" in a trail of smoke as the music plays him off.)

Doesn't Goff have the most racially charged antics on that show?

You know Sinatra music for white people, etc.

But isn't he the one always pointing that he's not "white enough" for listeners?

When he talks to his white coworkers he says "what's up fellas", but changes his tone of voice when he hosts and will say to a black caller, "what's up brother".

Goff filling in w/McNeil vs Goff solo or w/BnB, two different personalities.

By George I think you've got it. Thank god somebody other than me said it.

I'm also amazed how Goff gets away with his "Light skin brothers vs. Dark skin Brothers" thing at the Score. How he can say this shit is amazing especially considering his imagined notion that all white people in Chicago are racist. It's just dumb ass stuff. Especially with Larry at the station. Somebody else says this type of shit and Larry goes nuts. Goff says it and it's cute. I just don't get it.

That's just Jason asserting his black Alpha dominance over the high yaller Sir Larry.

The DaMaNa thing is definitely used as an insult (jokingly or not) sometimes

See what Zizou wrote about 3-4% to be true

Thats it.

They frequently say the DaMaNa thing after someone references

Sensitivity
White Trash
Big TV's
Fishing
Drug Use
Erectile Dsyfunction meds

A couple of those are harmless. A couple arent.

You know what I just figured out? Goff is doing that damn "Da Ma Na" thing more than ever cuz of me calling him out and the controversy it caused with Mac on this board. No doubt in my mind. It's a defiant "Fuck you" to me and him saying you ain't gonna change me.

In other words, "Da Ma Na" is now an insult to both me and the actual Da Ma Na. Son of a bitch!!!!!

Fine. Keep it up, Goff. You just look stupid, though. Random, high volume "Da Ma Na's" are bad and dumb.

It was a developmentally disabled kid that said it, right?

How is it that everyone but Joe Cowley ends up on the B&B shit list?

Tough to say. If he does get a full time talk show it could only be at the Score under its current management. Mitch and Zim have accepted his bullshit and nonsense. Don't think a new Score management team would. I don't think any other radio station would want somebody that tells black people to switch from Watermelon to Pineapple and that light skinned brother always have something to prove to dark skinned brothers.

The truth about it is it simply sounds lame coming from anyone but Terry. Everyone else is second generation on the joke with the humor being lost in the translation.

Goff is the number one guy off the Score so one would assume he'd get the next opening. Doesn't always work that way. See Hood and Larry.

Could just be he's the number one bench guy cuz every station needs a number one bench guy.

Getting back to my earlier post, I really do see a new management team cleaning out the Score. Changing this Bernstein infused culture over there. It's just the way it's done. The new GM would want to put his people in and wouldn't have any loyalty to the current Score people. Especially the backups.
