They did. I watched it. Probably one of the best sports moments ever. It's hard to explain what it's like to watch your team win one.

Right, for half a city. It would have probably been better if the whole world was watching, but Im sure rockin Bridgeport and Canaryville is cool, too.

Given the extreme unlikelihood that the Cubs ever win one, it would have been a good idea to enjoy it more.

It's kind of like if you were a failed high school athlete but your son is really good. Live vicariously through him to get over your failure. The White Sox can be the competent child that does not have your shortcomings.

Nah, most forgettable would probably be Angels vs. Giants in 2002. I remember a few years ago I was at a barbecue and I was the only one who could even remember the matchup. I was like, "Remember when Darren Baker almost got ran over at the plate?" My guy was like, "Ohhhhh yeah, that's right!"

White Sox had the best postseason run since the wild card format started*. Sweep defending champs, 4 complete games in a row to win the ALCS, sweep the WS. Don't care who watched it. I watched it. It was my team. It meant something to me. BEST PLAYOFF RUN* EVER
