Hostess brownies. Sometimes they're 2 for 99 cents. I will also admit to having grabbed a taquito off the rolling grill at 7-Eleven on occasion.

it's those cheese danishes from.... plainfield? something with a P. you'd see them and be like "ohhh those" and for $0.99-$1.39, smokey, you are entering a world of YEAH because like... what kind of miserable sod is out there having the kind of shit day that can't be improved by a benevolent pastry?

i used to carry a few pastries around and when i would have these unfortunate bouts with intelligence and/or wit i'd go to the offended parties and say "you look flummoxed.... would you like to have a pastry?"

when i find a job or at least a steady stream of old ladies to rob at my local ATM, i'm going to always have a few pastries on me so when i need to get rid of people i can give them a pastry and get them on their way. i'm planning ahead, dammit!
