* After seeing this thread headline, I just shed a tear of joy. I'm hoping though the Bears don't give them a reason to "go off" this season. With no LT and only one good HB in camp,I doubt it.

I'd prefer a more objective and easy-on-the-ears postgame show.

I'd love a Hub Arkush/Matt Bowen postgame show. I hate the angry old-man silliness of Doug and OB.

As I've responded before, three other stations give you that kind of postgame if that is your preference. This is unique and the one I choose.

As always, that's terrific news.

However, why does it have to be every friggin' year? Just say they're signed for a couple-three years ... nobody wants anybody else to do the job anyway, and if one of them croaks, the contract doesn't count. I think it's at least a little bit of a dick move to do this each year is all.

Hub and Bowen?? Not a bad idea but I think Hub would get old after a while.

I like listening to Hub but he can be a wet towel at times, putting a damper on any mood. When he's driving a nail into someone, he only puts it in so deep before apologizing. When it's time to be excited, he pulls back and takes a contrarian view to put things in perspective. This is good during the week, but right after a game it would be a huge let down when people are fired up.

Doug and OB's meatball ranting is great after a loss and there's no way Hub and Bowen could provide the same.
