So who is a better 2nd baseman than Cano?

That was my opinion, Frank, "don't ya know", as WCBS/Yankees' Radio Network PBP voice John Sterling always says when Cano hits a homer.

Than in your opinion, who is better? You said Cano "might be" the best.

I think he might be the best in the game right now. There's absolutely no comparison between him & Gordon Beckham at the plate.

He might not be on the Cubs' radar when they get good again...if they get good again. Honest!

I am not comparing him to Beckham. You still said "might be." I am asking you, in your opinion, who 'might be' better right now than Cano at 2nd base?

I don't think there is, and that includes Gordon Beckham, who is already really good with the glove.

Than you can just say, "I think Cano is the best 2nd baseman in the league."

Cano has more power, but a case could be made for Ian Kinsler. Though he has severely tailed off the last month.

This just in...SHARK Sports has learned that former White Sox World Series-winning CF Aaron Rowand will sub for Darrin Jackson alongside Ed Farmer on 670 The SCORE & the Chicago White Sox Radio Network for the final 2 games of the White Sox/Yankees' series in The Bronx. That's the word from the Trib's Mark Gonzales & 670thescore.com's Adam Hoge. Family-related issues are the reason why D.J. is taking off for the final 2 games of the Yankees' series, and I've NEVER heard Rowand doing color commentary before.

The lineup is in for the first of 4 with the Yankees. These are the guys that'll deal with Yankee righty Ivan Nova in the Bronx this eve, complete with their batting averages next to their names:

30 Alejandro De Aza CF (L) .289
20 Kevin Youkilis 3B (R) .247
32 Adam Dunn DH (L) .216
14 Paul Konerko 1B (R) .333
51 Alex Rios RF (R) .302
12 A.J. Pierzynski C (L) .283
24 Dayan Viciedo LF (R) .253
10 Alexei Ramirez SS (R) .246
15 Gordon Beckham 2B (R) .243

Dylan Axelrod, who got a ND in his last start Saturday vs. the Brewers, does the chucking for the White Sox in the first of 4. Needless to say, he's excited about pitching in the Yankees' $1 billion ballpark.

Rowand is being paid $12 million this year. Last year of his 5 year $60mil deal from the Giants

The Yankees' lineup is in. Here are the guys who'll deal with the White Sox' Dylan Axelrod.

2 Derek Jeter SS (R) .305
14 Curtis Granderson CF (L) .241
13 Alex Rodriguez DH (R) .266
24 Robinson Cano 2B (L) .308
25 Mark Teixeira 1B (S) .248
33 Nick Swisher RF (S) .267
27 Raul Ibanez LF (L) .240
12 Eric Chavez 3B (L) .277
19 Chris Stewart C (R) .258

According to Yankee manager Joe Girardi, Russell Martin is out with back issues for the fourth time in 5 games, but isn't serious enough to warrant a stint on the disabled list...yet. Ivan Nova does the pitching for the Yankees, and hopes to stay in one piece after both C.C. Sabathia (groin) & Andy Pettitte (fractured fibula) landed on the DL yesterday.

How 'bout the Reds' Brandon Phillips, Hawkeye? I think the Red Sox' Dustin Pedroia has also batted clean up, too. Seriously, Robinson Cano is so good, the Yankees have also batted #24 third in the order, too.

So you are saying Pettitte is just as heterosexual as Tom Cruise is?

Listen, just because Andy Pettite sucks penis doesn't mean you can't cheer him on when he pitches for the Yankees.
