Tonight is going to be a high scoring game that the Sox will lose. I like their chances the rest of the weekend.

Pettite is not gonna get in the hall. He'll be lucky to get 20% of the vote. Mike Mussina would probably eat his hat if Pettite goes in.

No. Doesn't pass the eye test or the metrics. Cano is good, above average, but your statement is absurd.

I really could not care less how many wives John Travolta or Tom Cruise have/have had. There is no way that they are striking out over two thousand batters in the Major Leagues.

If you bozos want to talk about baseball, let me know.

For years. It's one of his "things" around here.

I admit that I can hold grudges for decades, but you are incorrect if you are referring to the time that I threatened you to a fist fight.

For God's sake, how many times do I have to admit that I was wrong in that case?

I would like to talk about the double digit victory total of a certain Pirate pitcher who used to play for the Yanks.

I would be more than happy to discuss this, and I am very glad that you brought it up.

This season proves what I have been saying since day one about A.J. Burnett. He is a mental midget, who was psychologically incapable of pitching for a great team with high expectations. Now that he is with the Pittsburgh Pirates, who will probably never again make the playoffs, he is actually having some success.

I am still overjoyed that he is gone. If he was still with The Glorious New York Yankees, he would have maybe three (3) wins.

Thank you for raising this interesting topic.

What a humiliating performance thus far against a doofus who looks like Opie from Andy Griffith.

yeah that was an excellent win for the white sox. axelrod recovered after almost shitting the bed early, and all it took was a little timing from the cuban pimp and the ballgame was ovah.

once addison reed hits his spots consistently he'll be unfuckwithable. he has the right idea with his pitches/stuff/etc, he just closely misses on some of the pitchers pitches he's gotta get to dominate the count consistently

All you can do after a loss like that is laugh out loud!

This team makes me vomit.

I will say, this bullpen isn't quite so scary without 42 coming in to close things out.

He pitched well for a Marlins world series winner and the Pirates are contending. The more obvious answer is that, while being a mental midget, the NL gives him the opportunity to take batters off mentally without getting killed.

That was a nice win last night by the White Sox. I don't know what Yankee reliever Clay Rapada was thinking when he threw that ball behind Derek Jeter and into center field on what should've been a double play ball off the bat of Anthony John Pierzynski right before Dayan Viciedo's game-winning homer in the top 9th. That DP that wasn't and the throwing error was the turning point last night.

As for tonight, you'd think the Sox have the upper hand with onetime Yankee farmhand Jose Quintana starting vs. Adam Warren, a right-hander just called up by the Yankees' Triple "A" affiliate in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to replace the DL-ed C.C. Sabathia with his groin issue. Then again, facing a guy they've NEVER seen before could be a long night on what could be a 90+ degree sauna in the Bronx at gametime.

I'd like to think that the last thing that went through his head, other than that bullet, was to wonder how the hell Andy Dufresne ever got the best of him.

Whatever clay rapada was thinking was no match for what I was thinking. I usually do not care for profanity, but I did swear quite a bit after that play.

Then I shook my head and laughed, while praising The Lord for all my good fortune.
