I'm pretty sure he'll come here. I have no idea what they're going to do with Crawford. Craw worships Brodeur so it'd be a great mentor situation, but they may just ship Craw to New Jersey in an odd twist of fate.

But honestly I have no idea what the shit is going on. NHL free agency is such a random grab-bag, and naturally the Hawks have only walked away with Brookbank, who's fine for what he is, but...

I mentioned this before. I can't find the article online, but I know I read that one of the tenets of Scotty Bowman's post-cap philosophy is that goalie is a highly overrated position and investing in a high-priced goaltender is a bad idea. It seems as if that's true the focus will instead be on shoring up the defense. I wouldn't minds seeing Brodeur in a Hawks sweater, but I'd be pretty damn surprised.
