Match 2: No Disqualification Match
Monsoon: And the second match in the Prohibition Series is underway Jess and this one will not be for the faint of heart. Ventura: No it won’t be. Speeps and Drop In slowly meet in the center of the ring as their intense stare off continues. The crowd erupts into a loud “DROP IN!” chant as they are clearly behind the former member of the DrinkyAlliance. Suddenly, Drop In explodes with right hands that have Speeps completely off guard and the crowd erupting into cheers! Speeps and Drop In are slugging it out in the middle of the ring, going blow for blow and punch for punch. Eventually, Drop In lands more and more punches before completely dominating Speeps. He staggers all the way into the corner and Drop In is STILL slugging away. Speeps slowly but surely drops to the canvas and Drop In finally backs off, throwing up a fist to the crowd for the enormously loud pop. Drop In charges forward and nails a knee to the face of Speeps. Drop In pulls Speeps up and out of the corner and leans him against the nearby ropes. Drop In takes a few steps back, charges forward and nails a clothesline that sends BOTH men to the ringside floor! The crowd erupts into cheers as Drop In once again gets to his feet and throws his fist high in the air to the result of a rather large “DROP IN!” chant once again breaking throughout the arena. With Speeps lying on the ringside floor, Drop In does a small forward charge and drops an elbow across the throat Speeps. Drop In pulls Speeps to a vertical base and practically tosses him into the ring steps that crumble apart upon impact. Drop In cryptically walks towards the mini destruction and picks up the top piece of the ring steps. Drop In begins screaming “GET UP! GET UP, YOU SON OF A BITCH!” at Speeps and the fans are cheering extremely loudly. Drop In is sizing up Speeps, waiting for him to get to his feet. Eventually, Speeps slowly reaches a vertical base with his back turned to Drop In. He slowly turns around and sees Drop In charging toward him with the ring step! Speeps, however, has enough wherewithal to simultaneously duck and nail a vicious drop toe hold! Drop In falls forward, his face colliding with the ring step! Ventura: An excellent counter from Speeps, very smart and he makes Drop In pay big time. Monsoon: Speeps is not a rookie in this business, Jess. He has some tricks up his sleeve that’s only learned through experience. It is, however, going to be difficult to outsmart Drop In. Ventura: Drop In is an idiot, Gorilla! Drop In remains down, his body still leaning against the ring step. Drop In attempts to rise to a vertical base but Speeps suddenly charges forward and violently shoves Drop In head first back into the ring step, the collision causing a loud “THUD” throughout the arena. Speeps proceeds to once again grab Drop In by the back of his head and smash it against the ring step several times! After doing this for six straight times, Speeps finally stops and mocks Drop In by rising his fist in the air. The fans erupt into boos. Speeps tosses away the ring step and hauls Drop In up to a vertical base. Once again Speeps grabs Drop In by the back of the head and slams it against the ring post. Blood begins to trickle down the nose of Drop In. The duo has made their way to the front of the broadcast area. Speeps proceeds to slam the face of Drop In against the Spanish announcers table. Speeps goes for another one but Drop In manages to not only block the attack but manages to grab Speeps by the back of his head and slam him face first into Spanish announcers table. Drop In repeatedly and viciously continues to slams Speeps’ face against the Spanish announcer’s table much to the enjoyment of the sold out audience. Drop In eventually backs off and allows Speeps to “recover” from the face bashing. Speeps, however, does not get to recover for long as Drop In charges forward, grabs his head and nails a swinging neckbreaker on the ringside floor! The fans are cheering loudly! Monsoon: BottleNeckbreaker from Drop In on the ringside floor! Ventura: Even Speeps had to have felt that! I think Speeps is about to lose his number one contender status. Drop In gets to his feet and looks towards the ring. He begins to lift up the ring apron and pulls out a folded steel chair much to the delight of the sold out crowd. Drop In begins to measure up Speeps and once again screams him to get to his feet. Eventually, Speeps slowly rises to a vertical base and receives a chair shot right across his face. He immediately falls back to the ringside floor as Drop In raises the chair high in the air and the crowd goes crazy with cheers. Drop In pulls Speeps to a vertical base and lays him across the Spanish announce table. Drop In proceeds to place the steel chair across the face of Speeps and heads towards the ring. Drop In hops onto the ring apron and the crowd immediately begins to buzz with anticipation. Drop In raises his fist in the air before running across the apron and leaping off with an elbow drop! The Spanish announce table crumbles due to the impact and the crowd goes insane with cheers, a loud “DROP IN!” chant breaking out once again! Drop In emerges from the wreckage of the Spanish announcers table and quickly mounts Speeps and begins to unload on him with vicious rights and lefts. After a few more vicious punches, Drop In pulls Speeps up to a vertical base and rolls him back into the ring. Drop In, however, remains at ringside and once again searches under the ring. Drop In proceeds to pull out a metal garbage can and throws it into the ring and the fans once again cheering with anticipation. Monsoon: What is Drop In gonna do here?! Ventura: He’s gonna recycle Geno. WHAT DO YOU THINK HE’S GONNA DO HERE?! Drop In slides into the ring and retrieves the garbage can while Speeps slowly gets to a vertical base. Drop In charges forward and Speeps nails a desperation drop kick. Both men get to their feet and Speeps connects with a stiff European Uppercut. Speeps follows through with a backhand chop and eventually has Drop In backed into the corner. Speeps proceeds to viciously stomp away at Drop In and eventually causes Drop In to collapse to a seated position. Speeps proceeds to place his boot across the throat of Drop In, choking him. Speeps finally backs off and quickly heads to the opposite side of the ring. He proceeds to charge forward and connects with a boot right to the face. Speeps proceeds to retrieve the already dented garbage can and leans against the body of Drop In. Once again Speeps heads to the opposite corner and runs forward and connects with a corner drop kick. The garbage can becomes further dented from the impact. Speeps tosses the garbage can out of the ring and we can see that Drop In is busted open even more. Speeps pulls Drop In to a vertical base and mounts the second rope. He begins to clobber away at Drop In’s skull with vicious right hands, the crowd booing every punch. After ten straight punches, Speeps hops off the middle rope and reaches into the inside of his boot. The crowd is abuzz with confusion until Speeps pulls out a pair of brass knuckles. The crowd immediately erupts into boos. Speeps begins to punch away at Drop In, who looks to be out of it. Speeps tosses the weapon out of the ring and pulls Drop In out of the corner. He sends Drop In into the far ropes via the Irish Whip. Drop In comes off the rebound and Speeps delivers a running big boot and Drop In hits the canvas hard. Speeps immediately goes for the cover, Chas sliding into position to make the count… One… Two… DROP IN KICKS OUT! The fans erupt into cheers as their hero kicks out and Speeps is beside himself. He insists with Chas that it was three count but Chas does not back down. Speeps is livid and proceeds to slide out of the ring. He lifts up the ring skirt and searches under the ring before pulling out a folded steel chair. Speeps slides into the ring with the chair firmly in his hands as the crowd buzzes with anticipation. Speeps immediately begins to measure up Drop In, who is attempting to get to his feet. Drop In clutches at the nearby ropes and tries to haul himself to his feet. He eventually manages to do so and is clearly on jelly legs. He stumbles around and Speeps nails a sickening chair shot that dents the top of the chair. BUT DROP IN DOESN’T GO DOWN! Drop In remains on his jelly-legged feet! Monsoon: DROP IN DOESN’T FALL! Drop In DID NOT FALL! Ventura: I can see that Monsoon. Stop yelling at me. Speeps hits another chair shot and Drop In still doesn’t go down. Speeps with another shot and Drop In is still standing strong, the fans going absolutely wild. Suddenly, Drop In snatches the chair out of Speeps’ hands and smacks him across the skull with it. The number one contender falls to the canvas as the bloodied Drop In rolls out of the ring and once again lifts the ring skirt up and searches under the ring. Drop In pulls out a most unusual object – a gym bag. Drop In slides the gym back under the ring and quickly follows suit. Drop In collapses to his knees and unzips the gym back, clearly reaching for something. The fans buzz with anticipation before erupting in cheers as Drop In pulls out a Hasbro Lex Luger WWF Action Figure with Narcissistic Knockout! Speeps is on his feet, his back turned to Drop In and completely oblivious as to what is transpiring. He slowly turns around and Drop In charges forward and uses Lex as a ram of sorts, shoving his head into the gut of Speeps. Speeps immediately doubles over in pain, but the pain is not yet over as Drop In uses the Narcissistic Knockout and Lex chops right across the back of Speeps! Immediately he collapses to the canvas. Monsoon: A Hasbro Lex Luger WWF Action Figure to the back of Speeps! Ventura: And Speeps is selling like a champ Monsoon. Drop In immediately pulls Speeps to a vertical base and forces him into the corner. Drop In proceeds to bring the Lex Luger Action Figure and stabs Speeps in the eyes with it. Speeps wanders out of the corner. Drop In applies a front facelock and hits his the Pants Dropper DDT. Fans are going insane with cheers. Drop In turns him over and makes the cover, Chas sliding into position to make the count… One… Two… Th… SPEEPS KICKS OUT! The crowd “OOOOOOHHHH’s” and quickly boos as they are absolutely convinced that Drop In got the three count. Drop In doesn’t fight it but instead slides out of the ring and once again searches under the ring and eventually pulls out a table. The fans are cheering with absolute insanity. Curiously, Drop In sets up the table at ringside rather than sliding the table into the ring. Drop In hops onto the ring apron and grabs Speeps by his feet and drags him onto the ring apron. Drop In quickly applies a standing head scissors on the apron and the fans go crazy. Monsoon: Speeps is in big trouble here! Drop In is going for Greetings From Tinley Park! Ventura: And off the apron and through a damn table no less! Speeps, however, begins to fight out of the standing head scissors by throwing punches to Drop In’s ribs. Speeps weakens Drop In just enough to squirm out of the standing head scissors. Both men are standing on the apron, their faces covered in blood. Drop In charges forward with a clothesline attempt but Speeps ducks through. Out of nowhere, Speeps grabs the arms of Drop In and begins to set him up for the Sandusky Killer. Speeps has Drop In in position, leaps off the ring apron, and nails the Sandusky Killer through the table. The table shatters and the fans are in awe as Speeps nails the deadly maneuver. Monsoon: Unbelievable! The Sandusky Killer off the apron and through a table! Ventura: Jesus Christ, Drop In might be dead! Both men lie in the wreckage of the table, Drop In obviously receiving the worse of the impact. Speeps is showing signs of movement, and after a few minutes gets to his feet though clearly feeling the effects. Drop In, however, is unmoving in the wreckage as referee Chas checks on him. The crowd is abuzz with worry, some booing Speeps, the majority chanting “HOLY SHIT!” Speeps weakly grabs Drop In by his hair and lazily rolls him into the ring. Speeps slides into the ring followed by Chas. Speeps practically collapses on top of Drop In for the cover, Chas in position to make the count… One! TWO! THREE! Chas orders for the bell to ring as the crowd boos loudly!
Monsoon: And mercifully this one is over! Terry Speeps wins and sets up a winner-take-all cage match.
Ventura: That’s right Gorilla. It’ll be the Number One Contender spot on the line against the career of Bobby “The Brain” Heenan, and it will happen inside a 15 foot high steel cage.
Winner: Terry Speeps (1-1)
