Or I'm 99 percent sure I shared it here but I can't find the thread.

A very good friend of mine's husband was killed and her son very badly injured in a car accident a few months ago.

Her son is going to be okay but he's got a long road ahead of him.

Today he took his first steps since the accident!

This is a great kid and he's going to win this battle.

Her daughter's life may have been saved by getting a D on a math test. Her daughter would have been with them that night and she always sat in the front seat and her son in the back because he liked it when they were with only one parent.

But because of the D she wasn't allowed to go and stayed home. The only reason her son is alive is he was in the back seat.
