Whats the deal here?

Anyone understand why Jason was ripping Harvey last night? Or why texters were defending it?

He ended his show saying "You wouldnt rep Harvey at a job interview"....I think. Something like that for sure, it was quick

Wow, Goff is now the resident Harvey/Southside Expert? When did this happen?

Quite the list of credentials....
-NBA Expert and Insider
-Drug dealing Expert
-Harvey/Immediate Southside Expert

Good for you, Goff!

Aggrey must be from Harvey

Some Guy (not SomeGuy) texted in saying "Watch ya mouth about Harvey"

Jason tried to make a segment out of it, but Aggrey got pissed and said "Can we talk about basketball?"

Then at the end of the shift Jason from Evanston got in the shot about Harvey.

Really weird.

Was it that important to get he Zinger in Jason?

Goff will be on The SCORE again at 6p tonight. I wonder if Bernsy & Holmes will ask him about it...

This sounds like another example of Goff's need to always be on the offensive and always be confrontational. I don't get it. I don't know why he views talk show hosting and reporting as going in to war. There are times for it. But he's in fight mode all the god damn time. A lot of times for no reason.

He's an angry, tangentially black guy.

You think Goff would ever needle Derrick Rose for coming from Englewood? Or how about Derick's brothers and Mom. You think he sees them at Bulls games, points and says "Ha ha ha ha, you mother fuckers come from Englewood."

I dont know what the full story was. I just know Harvey was mad at Jason and Jason took that shot.

His overall cocky persona is getting a little out of hand to me. He's nearing the border of confident/cocky (good) and smug/arrogant (bad)

Maybe Im crazy, thats how it seems.

Also, and this isnt just for Jason, but how bout a litle talk about the teams, the teams performance, and what the team should do instead of talk about fans, the fans performance, and what the fan should think.

Awww c'mon Bryan, you know as well as I do that as soon as Noah scored 20 in a game, EVERYONE starting saying that the offense should run through him.

I don't remember Goff ever having a beef with The SCORE's first General Manager. Mac however...A different story.

That might be true. But why does it have to come up with Goff to his guest that is from Harvey? That's the question. Why does this Angry Sam (or whatever his name is) have to have his home town pissed on for no reason?

Why must Goff always start shit? Why is he always looking for confrontation? Why is he always looking to stick the blade in? This goes back to the "Da Ma Na" shit too. Goff is out of control!!!!

That's the station though. At some point, they decided that being The Voice Of The Fan was less interesting and profitable than being The Voice Of Self-Important Blowhards Who Tell The Fans How Stupid They Are.

Poor Goff. He gets some time this week to shine in his own spot and it is one of those dead weeks with not much to talk about in regard to Chicago sports.

Hey Jason, perhaps you can give us an update on your dishwasher situation?

This might be my favorite thread of all time. Aggrey is from Philly/D.C.

Just shows what happens when word of mouth is used. It's a joke about the kind of chicks that are always around when we hang at this one joint on the south side. No worries. Haven't been here in a while; but you guys keep it lively. Be well.

I thought Harvey was a booming town and majority white until the early 80's ..no?

It was a pilgrimage to the birthplace of Terry Boers.

Is that motherfucker still alive? The guy made a career off of being Sinatra's glorified gofer. North would always let him out of his tomb every 6 months and have him on as a guest. A complete toadie/prison bitch with a sense of humor that could only appeal to...who? I can't imagine. The geriatrics who appear on those Channel 11 shows about growing up in the 40s, 50s, and 60s? Maybe.
