I was "in & out" on the article...reading most of it but didn't really concentrate on it per se...

That said...it seems fairly "apologetic" for Paterno....and less of an "explanation".

The article does indirectly bring up a point that feeds into the 'cult of Penn State' in that this university has more alums working for it than any other school I have ever seen.

Main takeaway was there was another rape in 1998 that everyone knew about that wasn't reported. It's pretty much what everyone thought as far has how far back it went and how deep the coverup was. I'd not listen today if you're tired of this story.

...Especially now that this Freeh Report is out. 267 pages to be exact, and you know Bernsy will get pissy with a caller if he doesn't read every page of it. I don't think it's necessary, especially the more grotesque the descriptions get.

Did the report include color photos? Action shots? The story must be told, and a picture is worth a 1,000 words. Besides, half of America can't read above an 8th grade level. The only way the story will be told is with pictures, and I prefer the pop-up type.
