If you follow the trajectory of those three albums, yes. Funeral was a masterpiece. Neon Bible had its moments. The Suburbs was a bloated slog whose best song didn't even have typical Arcade Fire instrumentation. I'm ready to write them off.

Ok. I wasn't that impressed with Funeral. It ranged from great to blah on some tracks. Neon Bible was solid
all the way through and The Burbs had some good tracks but they kinda changed up their sound like you
mentioned above. I am interested to see what they do next.
